Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I either fat finger'd or my phone auto corrected to 130. What I originally meant to type was 138 PF. From what I found with my experience with TG is the PF stays pretty constant once you get close to causing the pressure seal. With conversations I've had with wobbly and idescribe, I no longer chase that minimum PF. I prefer to have a little cleaner firing and manage the tiny bit of extra recoil with grip. 2. Titegroup is filthy because you're not loading enough gunpowder into the shell for it to build up enough pressure to expand the case to the barrel and create a pressure seal. If you load a little more powder it will become a much cleaner shooting powder. Usually with my loads 125gr Blue Bullets, around 3.9gr TG it seals up and shoots pretty clean. And PF stays right around 130. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Nice! I'm getting ready to order some more. Can't wait to see if this is true. I guess it doesn't really matter since I wear surgical gloves while reloading. But it'll be nice to not get smurf dust all over my gloves as well. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. Yep. Just looked. You are correct, sir. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. And doesn't the Shadow 2 have a adjustable rear sight? I thought I did. Now I'm gonna have to check mine lol. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. I would Bench rest shoot and verify with someone else shooting (someone you know can shoot well) before drifting sight. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Blue Bullets 125gr 357 diameter RN projectiles with 4.0gr Titegroup and cci primers. COAL 1.11 Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. I have not had any problems with Blue Bullets. Only problem I know is when people run their 355 9mm bullets. Usually with coated lead you want a little more diameter for the rifling to have something to bite into. Jacketed bullets are fine at 355, they're harder so the rifling has enough material to bite into. That's usually where you find people that have accuracy problems. 355 lead bullets is softer than jacketed and just doesn't have enough material for the rifling to do it's job. Slug your barrel and see what you need to run. Most of the time it's 356. Sometimes might even take 357. I run Blue Bullets 125gr 356 diameter RN 9mm with 3.9gr of Titegroup with excellent results. 9. Aren't they color coded? Like green is 13# orange is 16# Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. I know they're pricey, but give the Henning grips a look. I just put some on my Shadow 2 and they are the best grips I have ever wrapped my hands around. I like them better than the LOK grips I've handled. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. You're usually pretty solid if you get the Bladetech mounting holes. Pretty much everyone makes stuff to fit them. If you're not using a BOSS hanger, I highly suggest it. If you're happy with your existing hanger, then just make sure it's compatible with Bladetech's system and you'll be fine. If you want to take some of the confusion out of it and you want to go with the BOSS hanger, just go to Ben Stoeger Pro Shop and order up both. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. Guess I'm behind the curve lol. I use 125gr in my shadow 2. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. Accu Shadows typically come with a trigger job with reduced weight springs as well as the bushing. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Shadow 2 Grips

Yeah, I have no idea. But if you load your own ammo and have great QC, no need to really worry. I think the odds are pretty well in your favor otherwise. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
