  1. No. I have a supply of parts that I help locals with. Nothing too extensive. Eric hooked me up with some prototypes of stuff. I will let you know if those products are going to happen.
  2. Eric's stuff is all production legal. I am testing spring setups and he should have a better firing pin out soon. I pitched Eric on basepads like mine but he wants to have the same pad for the production guns and the standard guns. I have the best production pad, Henning has the pads for limited, eric has firing pins, there are various sources for springs, dawson has front sights that are really good, eric's sites are alright, henning has stuff as well.
  3. I wear cheapies that do distort things sometimes. If I am prone and looking through the top of the lenses there will be some distortion. On the other hand, I don't shoot prone a whole lot.
  4. I really appreciate all you did for me man. Thanks!
  5. Ben; love your videos, love the way you share info, but I think your missing the target here. You're telling a lady with an ankle injury not to wear supportive footwear. You might as well be telling a shooter with an eye injury not to wear shooting glasses because you don't. I wasn't being entirely serious.
  6. I would probably have some choice words for you that include insulting you on various topics from your age to your physical appearance. After that I would get around to your "shooting".
  7. Rock the sandals if you want. I do 90% of my shooting in sandals.
  8. Per match? Or maybe USPSA hands "mulligans" out yearly. 2 per year, use as needed. That's some funny stuff. As far as the reshoot, I'll wait and hear from the powers that be, I'm sure someone will chime in with first account knowledge. I will add, doing what is "right" isn't always in the rules. If it was, well then, the rule book would be volumes, like the Encyclopedia Britannica, instead of the manageable size it currently is. I basically trust the powers that be, mostly. Yeah.. I was just screwing around. Like Chuck pointed out, the facts of this particular situation aren't really clear at this point. With BOD types being aware of it I am confident this issue will get resolved.
  9. ha! Decided to lay off the local matches as much this year and spend more time practicing. I shot 49 matches total last year, and while I had improved alot, it was the practice that did all the improvement. As soon as I stopped treating locals as practice... Dude you are crazy. 49 matches is hard core.
  10. I think it would be cool if they gave every competitor a "mulligan" card they can play at any point in the match.
  11. I try to shoot on the move in the widest variety of circumstances possible. You want to figure out where your limits are and then try to move the ball forward. Most people probably use a 3 target arrangement and practice moving in each direction while shooting. I like to work my shooting on the move in to little scenarios (mini stages).
  12. He understood. I had a good email exchange with him afterward.
  13. I told that shooter that his gun was not legal and he proceeded to shoot the match with it anyway.
  14. Feb release usually means the movie is garbage.

  16. You essentially need to relearn trigger control with your non dominant hand. You are just yanking on the trigger hard enough to send your shots stray.
  17. This class is a go and should be super fun. See you lurkers there.
  18. I am guessing that you are feeling pressure on classifier stages because they somehow "matter more". You need to practice dealing with that pressure. Try going out and setting up a classifier in practice and making your FIRST run "count" in terms of how you feel about your shooting. (hopefully you feel some pressure)
  19. Be careful with your positioning. Shifting around like you did at 24 is no bueno.
