  1. Anyone here As per latest rulebook: 6.5.1. Residency is defined as the Region where the individual is ordinarily domiciled for a minimum of 183 days of the twelve months immediately preceding the month in which the match begins. BUT if You want to re-do Your Finnish and Nordic championships, You must ask from both RD:s for temporary region change. Tommi
  2. Hi all, From Helsinki to Mikkeli is 143miles. Then it's up to 60 miles from town to town after Mikkeli. Mikkeli It's middle of nicest finnish summer. Last time it rained a bit but it didn't ruin our week, we had great time with Carl, Susan and Jason. Tommi
  3. Hi Carl, SG match is in same location as 2007. Half of rifle stages are in Hamina, same place as 2007 and second half of rifle stages are shot another day in Kouvola, 35 miles from Hamina. Have You bought GPS with european maps already? Tommi
  4. How are you Carl and how's your mom? I would love to see You and Your wife again here in Finland. At the moment, there is no pistol match in calendar one week before or after those two matches. We'll know later, now is off-season, people don't much think about next years matches. But after new year there will be major activity filling in calendar. Tommi
  5. Trapr, There is few differencies between rules in US and IPSC. Minor things only and we will manage, both Actually, 10.2.1 concerns STD also, You can take support with magazine outside the box, it's only bodyparts which are not allowed to touch ground. Tommi
  6. Hello Trapr, Rule 10.2.1 is quite clear and was also clarified to everybody in RO briefing. Tommi
  7. Just vanted to add nationalities after names It was nice meet US guys, especially standard team. Hope we meet again someday. Tommi
  8. Here's few clips of my Sphinx. Casio is really nice toy Front Side Tommi
  9. This strapwrench works also good with fibertubes: http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/Strap-Wrench/EN/index.htm Tommi
  10. Thanks for invitation, You better start building sauna. Tommi
  11. Tournament is now done. Thanks to all foreign shooters, especially to Carl and Jason. It was pleasant to meet You guys and spend a few hilarious days with You at range and learn something about shooting also. Tommi
  12. We have in our club few Snipetec targets. It has very bright light what is visible up to 1000 meters. It works with shocksensor. Just attach the sensor what ever target You like. One way is set pepperpopper so hard that it won't fall at hit. Then light flashes on every hit. Also target can be plywood. Cut wood to meet targets A-zone and put it behind ipsc target. Set sensor to the stick where target is installed. Then Snipetec flashes only when hit to A-zone. And there as many varieties to use Snipetec as You can imagine.
  13. In Finland Swarovski Z6i is now seasons hottest stuff. True 1x and up 6x. Similar size and weight like Zeiss Varipoint but more magnification and better FOV. Dot is bright enough to be visible at sunny day. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/3707/z6ismalldw1.jpg Tommi
  14. 19+1 Amazing about that PJ:s magazine is that it works Tommi
  15. Trapr, IPSC Tournaments should be done restricked. Like US 3gun matches. For excample, some 3gun divisions: STD, all guns standard OPEN, all guns open TACTICAL, rifle open, other guns standard PRODUCTION, handgun PD, other guns standard. Mayby someday we'll get this kind of match, until then, we have to play by tournament rulebook, which allows division shopping. Just my 2 eurocents Tommi
  16. Still few slots left for Finnish 3gun. Registration to match with e-mail to this address: NordicTournament2007@gmail.com Tommi
  17. I think is the best followers for shotguns are made from titanium. Very slick, light and lasts longer than plastic ones. In pic there is older one black plastic rem follower, then almost new orange one from my 1100 Tactical and Titanium follower. Tommi
  18. Here is mine brand new Rem 1100 Tactical, 22 inch barrel. With Easyloader and optional 13+1 magazinetube. Tell me guys, what are differencies between Tactical and CM models? Tommi
  19. Production rules are quite different between continents, AFAIK. If any PD shooters are coming, I suggest to read IPSC rules according PD gun modifications. Few excamples: No trigger jobs. Mags must have same external dimensions than original ones. No ten round limit. FO ok, any open sights ok, if installing sights does not need any machining to slide. Tommi
  20. Actually the Shotgun match is also both Nordic and Finnish Championships and so is the pistol match too. This means that every division will be highly contested and there are no easy ones to pick. One really can't sandbag through this Tournament so Kurt got it backwards. For example USPSA 2006 Limited Pistol Nationals had 220 competitors in limited and the same years USPSA Multigun Nationals had 23 competitors in limited. So which would be easier way to get your points shooting against 220 or 23... If any questions about scoring, I try to help. Tournament rules can be downloaded from IPSC.ORG. Tommi
  21. Hello all. These is only info needed for paperwork. I will be collecting that information, with registration. Later.... Tommi
