  1. ^This. it is so tiresome to hear about people wanting participation ribbons. The Tactards with their fleshlights and RMRs on 2011s are going to get smashed in CO or Open minor. It just doesn't matter. Just shoot Open
  2. Because 3 gun is Uber-popular and they have no place to shoot their guns in USPSA. Except Open. Sorry Matt but that Staccatttttto stays home!
  3. Haha. Yes and it also says thumbrest. May I suggest an egw ambi safety
  4. I roll size and use a U-die for 9 mm major.. Everything fits perfectly in my Hundo gauge. In one of my open guns, anything that passes the gauge will plunk. Unfortunately, I recently learned that that is not the case with my primary match gun. Same barrel type, same gunsmith. Match ammo gets plunked individually in this barrel. Rejects go into the practice bucket. Long story short, the gauge is only a guide. If it doesn't plunk in YOUR barrel, problems arise
  5. I am happy to report that after 2 weeks and 1200 rounds, the new Romeo 3 Max dot is perfect, but..... the down button does not work. Stuck at max intensity. Be gone, Romeo !
  6. There is significant lot to lot variation with SWMP. I have used it extensively for both 38 and 9. The stuff that I have currently is considerably slower than AA7
  7. To each their own, but if you are going to wet clean the brass first, why not just wet tumble without pins, little lube and load?? Your process is cumbersome
  8. Lol. I'm going to keep track of the serial #'s to make sure they aren't sending me my recycled broken optics. I would switch to an OG C-more if I wasn't so heavily invested in these Sigs and mounts.
  9. It's a frame-mounted dot
  10. I've broken more than my share of parts over the past 3 years shooting Open and I understand that it is the price I pay for shooting this division. However, I just had my 3rd Romeo3 Max die suddenly in the past 4600 rounds. I'm over it. All have been while shooting without warning. No flicker, no dimming. Just sudden death. 2 of the 3 were during matches, one of which was an A5 (no fun shooting a big field course dotless). My PF is not excessive, so WTF? To their credit, Sig has been great with replacements but I am at the end of my patience. {rant over}
  11. any insight as to whether Atlas is going to make any 155mm mags? My average size hands reload them better than 140s or 170s.
  12. 5.2.3. You do not need loops. “….the belt or the inner belt or both must be either securely fixed at the waist OR secured through a minimum of 3 belt loops…”
  13. Primers are available literally every day from at least one of the usual suspects: Midway, Natchez, brownells powder valley, midsouth, etc. Prices are high. Quantities are limited. The new reality
  14. This is true. I also changed the station 1 Locator on my 650/750 (Dillon part# 13614)
  15. Not you, too. You are way too smart for this. PCC unequivocally is faster than single stack but in my hands, I am faster with SS because I have zero rifle skills. Not the point. Let JJ or Ben or Kim or anyone who is A-class in both Prod and CO and see what happens with equally loaded mags. Even if you suck with target focus, using the dot as a front sight is faster than irons because there is no need to align the sights.
  16. so basically what you're saying his if you take 2 people who have no idea how to use a red dot or do target focus, you think the irons might be faster. Fascinating premise for a competition shooting forum. I will counter that it is easier and faster for the Noobs in question to use dot focus because there is no issue with having to align the front and rear sights. Just put the dot on the target and blast away.
  17. that's just a stupid comment. Put a dot gun and one with irons in the hands of someone who is competent with both and the Dot is faster over the course of a match. Every. Single. Time. Is this really even debatable?
  18. Moot not mute. I will make the blanket statement that I guarantee you and everyone else would have shot worse at nationals with Iron sights than you/they did with a dot.
  19. Not arguing that CO isn’t popular. Combining 4 divisions is dumb. Maybe lumping L10, SS, revo and prod would be OK More people shooting Open than CO in Alabama this week, BTW
  20. Odd that CO is a stand-alone match and Open is lumped with Production. 4 days and a difficult to reach location (no direct flights). I will be there but not excited about the logistics
