  1. My 135 Blues measure 1.135 to 1.114 and I am having no issues with my SP-01, SP-01 Shadow or Shadow 2.
  2. I have used both.. Both are excellent. Good service, good product. You can't go wrong with either of them..

    CZCustom is shipping

My new SP-01 Shadow for Carry Optics tomorrow. It has everything, everything I wanted. I just can't wait.. Can't wait!! When Stuart asked if I wanted overnight freight for another 25 bucks? I was like- "Hell yes!! For Sure!! Absolutely!!" It has been really nice dealing with these people. And I can say the same for Cajun.. CZ people are just good people to hang out with.. and the guns are fantastic..
  4. I would really recommend a sight pusher. I also recommend spending some money & getting a good one because it will work on many different guns and many different platforms.
  5. Thanks again for the helpful info. I changed my sight today and experienced no problems. Took a little over an hour but I was being really careful. I didn't have a good sight pusher, even though I've wanted one for years. I bought a Wheeler Sight Tool and it worked perfectly.
  6. Thanks a ton.. That was really helpful..
  7. I admit to changing loads more often than normal, but I do like trying to find the best load for each gun. Today, I ordered an adjustable rear sight from CZ Custom for my Shadow 2. It will make changing loads a bit easier. Anything I should know before I install it? If you have already done this install I would appreciate any pearls of wisdom you are willing to share. Thanks!

    Shadow 2 x10 bushing

The new bushing will make removing the barrel a little challenging until you get used to it. No worries.. I expect it will be fine after you are used to it.
  9. I think so. I am planning to use my Shadow 2 for 3Gun this year. I am shooting a Shadow in USPSA Carry Optics and an SP-01 for IDPA. Switching to a different platform for 3Gun would probably not be in my best interest. Please note that I am not a top competitor and I tend to be a bit cautious when I leave a gun behind. At my level in 3Gun competition, an extra second or 2 while putting down a gun is not going to make or break my match.
  10. I have the 771s, I really like the Safariland belt system but the 1-3/4" belt limits my choices in mag pouches. The 771s are O.K. but if the DAA Racers worked on a 1-3/4" belt I'd love to try them.

    carry optc

    Working on it.

    carry optc

Very hard to make the 45oz. weight restriction with the Shadow 2. I have seen 1 example on the CZ Forum that made weight but by less than 1/2oz. I went with the SP-01, had it milled and worked on by Cajun. It is a very nice setup and I am happy with it. Still searching for that "dang dot" sometimes but I think I'll be ready by the spring. I too have a Shadow 2, would have liked to have had it milled but was afraid of getting bounced to Open at a major match.

    CZ CO Choices

CGW has shipped my new Cajonized SP-01 with Delta Point. It should be here Tuesday.. Why is Tuesday such a long time from now? Why can't planes fly faster?
  14. 3.5 Grains of Titegroup with a 135 Blue Bullet works well for me.

    CZ75 magwell?

The CGW mag well will not work with the TTI base pads. The the pin for locking the magazine to the base pad interferes with the screw holding the base pad on. I've tried this combination and could find no way to make it work. The Springer base pads work fine with the CGW mag well. Springer also makes a mag well for the CZ75.
  16. At 46 ozs. I had to shoot in SPD. That was O.K. with me, I just wanted to try the gun in a match, seems like that is the best place to see what works and what doesn't work. I haven't had a DA/SA semi-auto since the early 70s when I had a tried a S&W Model 39. That gun wasn't much fun, this CZ is fun. I like it and will work out the problems or send it to someone that can work them out. Just so you know- In the 90s, I bought a S&W 39/53. It is a DA only version of the Model 39. Great gun, still got it, still carry it. If I had been more experienced when I bought the 39, it my have worked out fine.
  17. I am having this issue with a brand new Shadow 2. I changed the safety to the CZ supplied thumb friendly lever, but have made no other modifications. Doesn't happen often, but it blew an IDPA stage for me yesterday.. Really frustrating..

    P320 X5 Thread

I received my X5 today, I think I like it. I'll take it to the range tomorrow and know for sure. I am having trouble finding a holster. Who has solved this problem and where did you find a holster? Thanks
  19. Electronic or balance powder measure? I recently had a similar experience with Alliant E3. The problem proved to be the scale I was using, not the powder bar.
  20. I just read through the new rule book and it looks like this shooter will make ESP.
  21. This is kind of interesting. Probably out of my price range but I'd like to try one.. http://us1.campaign-archive1.com/?u=7b1a9382c490b04b227c7c2b9&id=ccee3669ea&e=[UNIQID]
  22. I ran my DVC with 172PF loads from day one..If that hurt it, I can't tell. 5000 rounds later it is going strong.
  23. My DVC ran fine right out of the box. A little polishing on some internal parts made it run better. I'm very happy with it.

    e3 powder

I like E3. 4.0 grains with a 180 Blue Bullet produces 171PF with my DVC..
  25. I use a Dan Wesson 9mm for ESP. Works very well and is stock from the box with the exception of an added magwell.
