I would contact the owner; that reply doesn’t seem to be in line with their excellent reputation,

Failed to mention, on top of the baffle that is molded to the hopper, I also added another one from armanov, I think. Could this be detrimental in the charges?
I tried all kinds/combinations of powder baffles; never had any luck with them. I use a Dram Worx Pyrex powder hopper with their baffle on my Dillon. Best combination I have found plus their lid has a gasket which seals tight and keeps out any humidity.

I've got 2 Honchos, and will be looking to move one of them in Black DLC. It is very durable as a coating, and with proper maintenance has been an absolute hammer. I've loved shooting mine and the customer service that I have received was top notch including direct contact late at night and teaming me with a sponsored shooter during nationals when i encountered an issue.
Good to know.

Got it; thanks again,

My Honcho is in 9mm major for open and. 40 in limited. Black DLC finish. Absolutely love it. I did have a case separation that damaged the breach block in 9mm. I sent the pistol back and they replaced any damaged parts and went through the gun free of charge. Great service in my opinion.
Good to know; thanks for sharing. How do you like the Black DLC finish? How durable is it proving to be?

Wow, lots of people taking a big dump on PT.
I’ve had a very good experience with PT. My Honcho runs great, is accurate, and looks perfect. The support from PT has been great also.
I haven’t had any issues with the locking block. I have about 5k 9mm major through mine so far.
I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one of their other models.Good to know from an owner/user. What model/caliber do you own? Finish?
-
What is the problem with the lock block? From what I read if well lubricated it is good to go. Not being an owner, perhaps my impression is incorrect,

I could not get an EGW U die do I purchased a Lee U die; worked great!
-
None; I CasePro all my brass and use a Lee U (undersized) sizing die.

While I do not own a PT gun, it seems from reading /following this complete thread that does not seem to be many complaints from those who take delivery. While finishing issues seem to be the major problem and to a layman seem easy to fix, I doubt that is the case. I would rather wait a little longer than have PT ship s sub standard finished product. From those that own them; how is their accuracy?

The Kore inner doesn't use elastic, but when you ratchet it up it allows the inner to tighten without the actual belt bunching up.
Thank you for the clarification.

No problem! If you are good with a sewing machine, or know someone, it's an option!
I should be able to find someone close to handle the sewing,
Thanks again.

I basically hook this elastic part where my ratchet is. It's been working so far during dry fire.
I got it now; thanks for your patience. I think I will give a try.

Thought I would share with everyone on how I approached the "bunching" dilemma of the inner belt.
I bought a roll of 1.5" elastic band. Cut my inner belts end off (the pointy end) and sewed the elastic band to the belt and the pointy end.
now when I tighten the ratchet, the ratchet part is over the elastic band. Once I tighten the ratchet, the elastic band allows for the tightening without bunching up.
Sounds like a plan; could you take some pictures? (A bit of trouble visualizing)
Thanks

When shipping guns I found the best most full proof way is from FFL to FFL.

Just to add some ffl’s won’t accept firearms from private sellers.
Going thru an ffl will avoid that.Good advice; that is exactly what I am going to do. FFL to FFL; I think safest way to go plus there is a legal record of the transaction.

Don’t get me started on the whole division thing; however you do have a point. Just seems like there a lot of discussions relating to the Mark 7 and Frankfort Arsenal progressive presses. Now if someone would come out with an affordable consumer primer production machine, we would be in luck. (Probably too dangerous)

This has been my ongoing quest for many moons; still haven’t found a solution. I am curious of the new Mark 7 gear driven powder measure could be adapted and if it would prove to be more accurate.

Thanks for providing this great information!
I interpreted the video incorrectly; this should clear that up nicely. -

My apologies; didn’t know where to post this question; should have asked.

I thank you for posting about the heat issue you experienced although, I don’t know what I can do to prevent that my glasses from getting hot. I have worn glasses of all types in all conditions all my life and have never faced a heat issue. If Hunters Gold know of this issue they should state it as a potential problem. I would have thought Brian would have offered a full replacement; in the grand scheme of things can’t be a money issue.
