Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just wondering if the Dillon tray is any easier to pick bullets from? I use the magnetic bolt dish and an always fumbling for a bullet. I have it siting on a stack of bullet boxes. Thought about buying the Dillon .
  2. When your eyesight goes to the dumper, and your reflexes slow down with age, you will be proud as hell of having been an A shooter. Focus on today, is what will get you there tomorrow. Cuz, brother, when you think about it, it can vanish in a second. Ask any disabled vet.
  3. Dark- tried OEM 17# and 14# No difference. Neil/45- Negative on the slide rider. Her thumb rides on the slide release. Braxton- I LOVE your solution. Headed to Idaho on the 23rd to look around! In the mean time, I'll try clipping a coil. I have extra mag springs so it wont hurt. Thank you!
  4. My wifes Gen 3 G34 is having issues failing to feed when she has one in the pipe and a full mag of 10 (NY boys, be easy on me) I can shoot it left handed with 3 fingers full of boogers and its fine. She has a decent IDPA grip on it and it FTF on her almost every time. My first inclination is her grip. Everyones first inclination is that. If I took a pic of her shooting style, she shoots like Jessie Duff. OK, SAY it IS the grip. What can be done to the gun to counter it? I've tried a weaker return spring. I've tried a heavier spring. I've tried hotter loads, softer loads. I've polished the feed ramp. I've tried every combination of spring in the mag. Shes used my mags. We've swapped uppers. We've swapped lowers. (lending more credence to her grip). Any suggestions?
  5. i run 3.3 g of TG @ 1.15 with 147 extreme plated, and get 920 fps (ave) thru a Gen3 G34. I wouldn't dare run more, but want to make sure I mean chrono at the matches I shoot.
  6. After deforming the wrench, I called it good. Then the dies loosened up on me within 2,000 rounds. Im thinking the wrench you are using isn't the one we are using. Rumor has it you guys double up your wrenches.
  7. You need the (2) adapters at the bottom of the tube. Green, I believe. One holds the tube, and the other fits inside the housing. Also need the shell slider, and change the 3 retaining pins (bigger than the tiny one s that retain the 45) Theres also a threaded collar to change and the powder funnel. Just buy the kit. its all there.
  8. One more thing to consider. Cold weather slows actions down, if you use a lubricant thats tooo thick. Froglube gets too thick, and slows the slide down on my 34 @ 38*
  9. I was sold on Frog Lube till this weekend. When it slows a glock down, its not the answer. 40* weather. The S/A Range officer 9mm would barely run.
  10. Before loading any mags to shoot, check the ammo in the chamber. Do they all fall out easy, or do some suffer from Glock Bulge? Its worth a look. Does the problem only happen with one particular mag? Edit: Just saw the chamber check. Sorry.
  11. LOL, Thought that would open a few eyes.... Im Jeff from Central NY. My wife and I are just getting started in the competitive world. So far, (2) GSSF (1) BUG and (1) IDPA match. Having the best time of my life! Extremely pleased with the people over at Pathfinders Fish and Game in Fulton NY. Really helped me get started on the right foot. My only question is, how does every control their addiction to this? Is there support group? ROFLMAO!!
