Sorry, guys, I didn't bring a camera. Maybe Larry or Benny could put one up. It does have some rather large white lettering on the right side, kind of gauche, but still functional none the less. Not much point of having a Miculek model if you can't advertise it, I guess. Jerry's open gun that I saw at Benning had a roadblocker break on it. This one is strictly tac optics/limited, so just regular chokes. Think Benelli with a 21" barrel and flush Nordic tube, that's what it looks like (and white lettering on the side).

Saw the Miculek Model at Rockcastle today, & it looks really nice. Benny had one field stripped, looks very simple. The other was the 22" gun. Nordic mag tube, fiber optic sight, but I think he said he put that on. Nice soft recoil pad, threaded for chokes. Said it should be on the market within 30 days. He's shooting it in the match, running great.

Saw the JM Moss. 930 at Benny's table, &it looks nice. Race ready out of the box. He thinks they should be on the market within 30days. I want one. And he had the Mark Otto load 2 vest. Very cool. Guy on our squad had a Keltec 14 rd. shotgun. Died after 5 shots. Not impressed. Talked with Ian Harrison from Top Shot, really nice guy. So far, really fun match.

I run the ACE ARFX also. Lightweight, comfortable in all weather, A1 length without the rubber pad, A2 with it.

Saw Jerry shoot one at Ft. Benning. Talked to him between stages, he said it ran faster than a Benelli, and he could not outrun it like he could a Benelli. My Saiga has a home made conversion. It runs 100%. The key is to make sure it has the correct amount of gas ports, or open up the ones it does have if it won't run bulk pack ammo.

How do you position your muzzle break on AR15?

school me on Millett DMS mounting options

Primary Arms deluxe extended mount has more eye relief than the PEPR. Cheaper too. PA's customer service is tops. -
Wow, if you don't get product to Brownells, you really don't want to sell something. No offense to the above shops, but they can't possibly move product like Brownells.
-
The choate comes with a spring, why aren't you using it? It will work with it. You might have to trim some, most leave 6-10" past the length of the extension. I believe choate's number includes the chamber, so the 9rd. Is the one you want.

You'll find lots of guys buying the top of the line rifles capable of the accuracy you want or something close to it, for 3 gun. But the fact is a factory rifle, such as the 3g1, will be more than adequate for what we need them for, 3-4 MOA. I think a lot has to do with pride of ownership, and there is nothing wrong with that. But you do not need 1 MOA for 3 gunning. Recommend you spend the extra cash on ammo and practice.

1-4x scopes or good 3 gun/tactical scopes

I do like the spring loaded levers on the ADM, and the tool-less adjustments are nice. The lower price is nice too. But both my ADM mounts came with tubes of lock tite, so not sure they are different in that regard. -

See this is what I mean you have people like you that don't put everything together that missed what was said to make what you think is a valid point. The questions asked was for a cheap "ON A BUDGET SCOPE" so I told him which ones will work on his budget. I didn't start throwing out scope mounts that cost as much as he wanted to spend on the scope alone. I would like to see anyone on here do a write up of the BOBRO and ADM without all the biased Larue butt slapps and look at the three mounts side by side. ADM and Bobro will always win against the larue setup. I think your post above shows the average Larue buyer, because someone said they were the best I will buy without any actual fact on why or if there is anything better. You are the guy who has never tasted anything but vannila so its your favorite and no others can compare. So next time you wish to post a "quote" why not look at the source and why the comments have been made instead of adding your 2 cents worth. You're right in that he did ask about budget scopes, and nobody mentioned mounts until you started with "crappy" Larue comments. It appears you are the one with the bias. You were asked several times to put up or shut up, and all we got was "real world" blabla. Let's see it. You assume because I stood up for Larue, I'm a fan boy. I sold my Laure SPRE and now run the ADM ScoutX, not because it was "crappy", but because I can get more rail space behind the ADM with it's single lever to add a DD 1* offset off the left side. I almost went for the SPRE without QD levers, but saw the ScoutX was QD and cheaper. Like them both, both are quality. But I don't run down a company in a public forum without backing it up. I guess if someone starts a "Who makes a crappy mount" thread, we know who will be first in line to respond. OP, back to your question. I too started with a DMS. You will outgrow it quickly if you do much of this. I actually tried two of them to get a decent one. Quality can be hit/miss. I tried the TAC30, but just didn't like the reticle. I picked up a Burris XTR14 on the classified, and love it. Recommend you watch the classifieds for good deals. The CMR looks interesting, but have no 1st hand experience with it. I liked my Meopta Kdot too, sometimes they come up for $500-$600 used. I sold my last one for $525. The classic answer for a quality starter scope is the Weaver V3. -

Wow, bad mouthing Larue, but recommending the Millet DMS. Just wow. -
The old Meopta Kdot was a 2moa. Unknown first hand on the new one. Have read the new is the same with the addition of the chevrons.

Right, the triangle was too big. If I tried one again, it would be the smaller dot. The oval shape of the lens did not help. It gave me the visual effect of a square peg in a round hole. At arms length, the triangle appeared huge. It is a well made optic, just not ideal for me. Rumor is there will be a Cmore STS with a bigger lens. That will be worth a look.

Got an email from USCavalry, all their tactical shorts are on sale. Ends tonite, so take a look.

I use a bungie walk thru strap with my safari land holster, but not with any of the positive lock bolsters like the ghost or speed sec. What feels natural in your wrist cant when you go to your belt? Start there, and adjust as you go. The old Barnhart Burner tapes were good for setting up rigs. Bet some young guys never heard of Jerry.

I tried the 7.5 on an Arredondo mount, and didn't care for it. Delta was too big & left the lens. I went with a Quinn II & a cmore & love it. Ugly but very functional. The Delta Point is a quality sight, but I did not care for it on my open gun. I sold it to a buddy who is using it on his Saiga, and it appears to be great there.

I like the front slide contour on my 9l better than the pro.
-
I'm guessing they won't run the gun, meaning they won't have enough "umph" to cycle the action. You might have to drop the recoil spring really light, or run the slide every shot.
