  1. Works for hammers, why not for mag releases?
  2. Henning emailed me back. Said he has one for the DP coming out probably next week.
  3. I saw the one on Springer for the regular SP01 dovetail, but I didn't see one for the Shadow. It was specific that it would not fit on a Shadow. I sent an email to Henning a few minutes ago. Ha! Just found one on Cajun Gun Works, $50. Scratch that, won't fit a Shadow. CZC is out of stock on a multi optic Shadow mount, but it is $84.
  4. Right, that's what I just said. Henning shows mounts for Fastfire & Romeo
  5. Which one fits the Delta Point? It's the same as a JPoint mount. Their choice are Sig Romeo & Fastfire/Viper.
  6. I have a Shadow SP01 coming, and I'll eventually get the CZC multi plate mount cut on it, but I want to get it up & running in CO now. Who makes a dovetail mount for the Shadow? I quickly looked at Springer & EGW, but didn't find one. Thanks.
  7. Kevin, we flew into Phoenix last spring and drove to the Grand Canyon, We passed a big highway sign for Ben Avery Shooting Range just north of the city.
  8. Let's not forget we recently lost at least one shooter that tried to catch a falling gun & got his finger in the guard & shot himself. Just not worth dying over.
  9. Avoid FM (Freedom Munitions). They used stepped brass cases. Now I hear they use brass plated steel cases.
  10. Pickaway Sportsmans Club in Circleville on the 1st Sat. when the weather breaks.
  11. Why both? Why not just Teklok straight to the belt?
  12. I'm with Sarge. Regular bag, but on a cart to haul EVERYTHING. I got it for 3gun, but I can't hardly shoot a pistol match without it.
  13. That's the way mine is. They are visible in the dark, low light settings.
  14. That's why I like Tekloks. Infinity positionably, yet readily removable. But a separate belt for each discipline makes things easier.
  15. Trim the domed end of the slide stop pin so it's flush with the frame, then radius the edge to aid insertion. You might need a tool or punch to take off the slide, but you won't push it out while in use. Kind of a common mod on custom guns. For slide stops falling out, I'd start with the plunger spring and plungers. Cheaper than anything else to try.
  16. So, is a Stock II L (assumed to be an Aussie SII) the same as a Limited with a DA/SA trigger minus the magwell?
  17. Exactly this^. My favorite open mag is an old style SV 170 tube with Grams 13 coil spring kit & Dawson base pad. I get 29 reloadable. Same set up in an STI 28 reloadable. I have to reload on most field courses, so chasing the extra round is not a big deal. Starting over, I'd look for several STI 131 tubes. Add the Dawson Para bases to make 25-26 round mags. Best of both worlds. Reloads like a 140, but extra "oh crap" rounds.
  18. I had borrowed a friends Limited last summer for a couple weeks. I swapped its top end onto my Lim Pro frame to see what an Aussie SII would look & feel like, & I would definitely buy one if they were imported.
  19. No offense, but you don't stay very current here, do you? i literally spent all morning surfing the net looking for a decent sub$1000 alternative for a backup to my high mileage LimPro. I bought a Canik TPSFX, but even as good as that trigger is, I like the steel gun better. Almost bought a small frame Witness. Glad I waited.
  20. Are they CZ on the inside? Does it take CZ75 mags?
  21. Somebody bought it. I watched it, but just couldn't pull trigger at that price. Congrats.
  22. I was looking at IonBond on a DW slide because I love black over stainless 1911s. Why are there so few companies willing to do individual guns? Obviously there is a market. My open gun with Accurate Plating hard chrome is gorgeous, and they want our business.

I see my confusion. If you want to be able to put the rear sight plate on for production, it has to be a Shadow model, not a firing pin block gun.
