  1. I still have my pin gun. Used to use solo1000 behind a 255 lead bullet
  2. Check out JJ or send him a message on FB. He wears a certain shirt that you can also slip in cold packs in the wrist area and on the inside of your bicep/tricep area
  3. WEAPON SHIELD SOLVENT. Spray it on and let it soak and go "shoot it out" then recoat after use.
  4. IDK if this is the same feeling or not, but I bought a used open gun and after it heated up after say 25 rounds it felt weird when I racked the gun. Long story short the slide was cracked. Only noticed it on a long stage when it got warm, it would warp or something.
  5. Thats actually an old Caspian frame with factory finger groove. HAHA! That gun has AT LEAST, AT LEAST, 15,000 rounds through it and was built 20yrs ago or more and is still tight as hell!!! The only thing I changed was the comp. and I had the slide EDM lightened. And the grip safety is still working. I do have to change that.
  6. 45ACP from the days of shooting pins. I may convert this over to a steel gun. A little bigger diameter bullet increases your odds a slight bit.......Who knows.
  7. I would start with a 10lb spring and see what happens and how your dot tracks. Then try a 9lb and see what happens and how your dot tracks. A lot of things come into play, slide tightness, spring length, ejector drag etc Also when you take it to the range, load up a mag and rack your rounds through the gun w/o firing it and see what its doing. Then move onto changing the recoil spring poundage.
  8. Did you ever see the amount of testing that went into developing the Oakley Tombstones???? My God they are amazing!!! They were designed by the military and a shooting team. They way they are shaped, they way they fit and the prizm lenses.
  9. I am a fan of the ernie hill/Gugas holster over the DAA. I just got rid of my DAA for another Gugas universal holster.
  10. So the big question is...............................................are you going to buy the Atlas, which is better or are you going for the looks and name????????
  11. I've tried the 22's but to me seem to dark, So I use 45's exclusively. Now, I just bought an old VR 28 lens that I'm trying, that is in between the 22 and the 45. It seems to be good, just have to shoot with it more. I always use the 45 outside no matter how bright it is. If you want something for low light shooting, not well lit indoors, look at the low light Prizm lens
  12. Yes, you may have to trim your grip to make it go down all the way.
  13. I would use Prizm ROAD over the golf for shooting. You dont like the 45's??? Thats what I use exclusively.
  14. I really love the Akai thumb rest. It has a different angle than the Go Gun and feels much better.
  15. They're awesome, I have 2 sets of 4 on 2 different rigs. You can take any off during a match for whatever reason or take them off at the end of a match they can adjust so many ways. Once again they're awesome.
  16. Phoenix Trinity Aggressive and not beaded before it left the plant.
  17. The only reason a thumb safety would be short is if you would try to use 1/2 of an ambi setup.
