  1. Is it mandatory to use an optic? Could I run my production gun with 140mm mags?
  2. Blade tech mag pouches for FN .45 mags work perfect for large frame tanfo mags. That's what I use for IDPA, and ghost for USPSA.
  3. Here's a question somewhat related to all of the Tanfo primer lighting discussions. Its in regards to the pencil test. I have several springs from PD I have tested out. In my Tanfo, or previously my Shadow, I can launch a pencil say 12"-20" above the barrel (depending on spring combos), and may get get light strikes on some of the lesser height setups. I put a pencil in my G34 and it will not even come close to leaving the barrel, yet it will light everything. How is that possible? Shape of striker vs a pin? Or because the location of striker spring vs location of FP spring?
  4. Curious waktasz, do you think you could have made GM with the G24 if you stuck with it, or do you feel the change to the 2011 platform enabled you achieve GM level?
  5. Purchased a couple guns from Oak Hill. Great prices and ship fast. Both purchases shipped the same day I paid for them.
  6. I bought mine from Oak Hill guns about 2 months ago. Fits in the IDPA box once the right side safety is removed, or you put on a single sided safety from a normal Witness pistol.
  7. I am also looking to load up some 9mm rounds for steel challenge match this weekend. I currently load 147 gr xtreme with 3.1 gr TG for minor loads. My plan was to load 124 gr plated bullets I have with the same powder drop. Anybody else do something similar?
  8. Yesterday I installed this setup in my pistol with a EG light FP spring that I cut (about 5 coils past tip of pin) , dry fired, and FP was getting stuck in front if the FPB so I swapped the spring with one that is uncut.
  9. I am going to test this combo but thought I would run it by the group first. Stock firing pin, E.G. Light pin spring, PD12 hammer spring, stock hammer, decent polish job. Will it light winchester primers?
  10. Any new news from HQ on this potential rule change?
  11. I should also mention your middle, ring, and pinky fingers on your strong hand will likely need to shift to the right to get your thumb around far enough.
  12. I am not seeing them also. I would like to though.
  13. http://neoshooters.com/other-places/ Check out link for places to shoot USPSA in NE Ohio.
  14. I ran a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel in my 35 with 9mm mags. Did not change ejector. No issues, very accurate.
  15. Need to practice adjusting your grip with your strong hand only to get your thumb to the mag release, then adjust it back as you are loading the new mag and getting sights aligned on target. Support hand should just be retrieving new mag.
  16. Same here. I was typically the only CZ shooter at my local club. The SA/DA all metal guns have not quite picked up yet.
  17. I was shooting 147's for awhile then bought a few thousand 124's to see if I could save a few bucks and still shoot relatively the same. Well, used up the 124's and are back to the 147's. I'll spend the extra few bucks for the slightly faster splits.
  18. Thanks for getting the pics of your polishing job to work, ARy. That's nice work. I have alot more work to do on my parts.
  19. Limited Pro (2015 or newer frame) is what you need.
  20. Thanks guys. Yes I have been reloading for a couple years now. Started not long after I began shooting matches. I enjoy the reloading portion of the sport as well.
  21. Tanfoglio limited pro. Feels similar to a 2011. Single action can be made very close to a 1911 break. I shoot mine in ssp and production. Could should esp starting in SA.
