  1. I heard the match results upload page on SCSA.org was not functioning for a while. Does anyone know if its back up and is this the explanation for such an important match to not be reported in a reasonable timeframe?
  2. Thanks, looks like the streaming is in a holding pattern. "The board is having an ongoing discussion about improving the livestream and implementing those improvements for tonight's meeting."
  3. Does anyone know how to find the streaming link or if its available?
  4. Ken, this is what worked for me, as per Dillon "Your alignment issue is probably going to be fixed by adjusting the indexer block #16776 (p 48 in manual). The two bolt holes are slotted. Pushing this block towards the rear of the bench advances the shellplate further clockwise, pull it towards the edge of your bench to retard advancement." The alignment tool Dillon sent me basically showed how far and in what direction to adjust the indexer block. Most likely by trial error you can make the adjustment without the tool. BTW, plus 1 for your Steel Challenge dry fire banners. After the gun and timer it has been the most important training tool I have used.
  5. This sounds like an interesting tip that I am unaware of. Could you explain exactly what you do with duct tape? Is the idea to wrap the 2x4 with DT just below the target? tia
  6. I'll take both LOK certificates for $30 each

Let me know your Zelle info and I'll make payment right away

  7. I wonder if they really do think this is the “problem”. As per SteelRankings.com and @GKB CO with 1.1% of shooters at GM is getting the largest reduction in peak time in January. Open with 0.8% at GM is also getting a peak time reduction. Meanwhile, the low ready divisions with 2 to 3 times more GM’s on a percentage basis are getting little to no peak time reductions. There must be some strategic reasons for the way peak times are adjusted, but the logic escapes me.
  8. I would only partially agree with you. Low ready divisions you are correct. Holster divisions, C class is where more shooters get stuck. In every holster division, there are more C and D class shooters than GMs, Ms, As, and Bs combined.
  9. Looks like @jrdoran has hit it out of the park! If you want to see where you or someone else ranks in a division, you can easily search by name or member number or just scroll through the list until you find what you’re looking for. If you want to see what the actual percentages are for someone over 100% it is now calculated for us. Percentages based on expired times are removed from the list. thank you for this invaluable resource
  10. No negatives that I have experienced.
  11. Same here, I have 2 Stock 2s, one with regular/consistent dry fire for more than 4 years and over 120,00 live rounds. I put a Patriot Defense extended firing pin in it originally and never replaced it. Were and when would the expected wear or damage be visible?
  12. Welcome, if you have not already, check out Volusia County Gun Range. Great place, all 8 steel challenge stages are always left set up in place. And they run multiple matches every week. Gorka Ibanez, who owns it and is a great guy.
  13. I have recently come across some Norma brass. Primer hole is too small to punch out the old primer in station #1 on my 650
  14. I've gotten two of his holsters. After a long wait for delivery on the first one, I too tried to contact him several times. After many weeks I finally got a response that the order was on the way. Disappointed as I was, I ended up liking the holster so much I ordered a 2nd and waited and waited. But knowing there would be a long lead time, and not urgently needing it, I didn't get up tight like the first order. Yes he could be much more communicative and professional and save himself and his customers a whole lot of head aches. BUT, in the end I love these products and am completely glad I stuck it out. I get the idea he has grown faster than his internal infrastucture can cope with. Customer Service - 2 out of 10 Product - 10 out of 10
  15. If we were keeping score, I think what would make the score George Jones - 1,762 vs All other USPSA rules experts - 0
  16. Not to good as far as reliability. I have two pretty much identical Stock 2s, both cut for 3max. In the last two years I have lost track of how many times I have sent them in for replacement, I think about 5 times between both of them. I love shooting with them when they run, clear glass, thin frame around the glass, wide field of view. just poor reliability.
  17. Sounds like the same "different division world champion" with the initials B.S. that I heard saying the same thing.
  18. Shooting 9mm minor in carry optics so no comp to worry about. I'll wait for a calm day with no wind to fire off a bunch more so i can enjoy the haze a smell!!!!
  19. Agree, I loaded 500 rounds of the uncoated bullets with N320 and shot them other day. They ran fine then I put 10 rounds of FMJ thru to finish up. Aside from the gun being considerably dirtier and maybe a little more smoke in the air (but it was a windy day so i really didn't notice it much), everything else i.e., accuracy and recoil were the same as coated bullets. At home the gun and barrel cleaned up fine. I plan to load up the other 1500 rounds and use them in practice. Thanks to all for the help!
  20. If leading in the barrel is the biggest concern, will it be obvious and easily seen by looking in the barrel?
  21. As I wait semi patiently wait for a shipment of coated bullets to come in, I am down to a few thousand 9mm 125gr .356 dia uncoated hard cast bullets. I have only ever put coated or factory ammo thru any of my guns. Could anyone advise if it would be unwise to use them or if there is anything to watch out for while loading them or firing them?
  22. Thanks for that info, I think I'll give it a whirl
  23. Max, I am interested in trying pre processed brass. Could you explain your procedure? What kind of press are you using and what steps are do you take?
