  1. I have always appreciated the big matches that provide a bay for warming up, testing, etc. Unfortunately it wasn't that common for a match to have a practice bay....at least not at the matches I attended. Also, I've never shot a match that had a stage to shoot but didn't count for score.
  2. Glad to hear the classic is back and with some great sponsors to boot ??
  3. Mr match director I registered once again just now since I never got email to squad. There must of been something wrong with my initial registration. Thanks Bryan
  4. Match director.....was there a problem with my registration? I registered for this match yesterday at 7:19 pm but I haven't been approved to squad or pay yet. Sorry...I forgot to put the particular state match I was referring to. I registered for the Open state match.
  5. Finally made it but switched from shooting limited to shooting open.....sights on master now!
  6. Oh...lol. I thought you were going to say you banned a bunch of people and withdrew them from the match! My mistake.
  7. It was full if I'm not mistaken. Perhaps Mosher could elaborate on the circumstances that lead to the now available spots?
  8. I use 7.6 of silhouette with good results
  9. hmmmm...I never thought of it from that perspective ^
  10. What would you think an RO would be liable for? There is only one person with a gun and it isn't the RO.....
  11. As far as I know it is the same mag. Most 9mm guys run the spacers in them with the 9mm follower which is shorter(front to back)
  12. Great match guys! I had a blast there and looking forward to the upcoming Jabs Steel match
  13. I'm going to give the spring and follower a good look and probably try another to see if this takes care of the problem.
  14. I would think it would be similar to sti but I think even the dawson tuning instructions says something along the lines of instructions not applying to SVI tubes so that's what lead me to posting.... Those of you shooting SVI mags....what do you do, if anything to make sure your mags are in spec?
  15. I recently purchased a set of SVI tubes for my 9 major 2011. My 3 140mm tubes are running good but there is an issue with the 170. I took it to the range Saturday and didn't have any issues, however, the first stage I used it in yesterday it did the following: gets down to 6 or so in the tube and from what I can tell I have multiple rounds jammed up in the chamber. I tried quick firing a full mag after this stage and got the same result. I have 13 coil grams spring and follower. I've been told there is no "measurement" so to speak for the SVI mag feed lips so I'm looking for things to check from those more experienced than myself. Thanks for any help in advance. For clarification these were new tubes I purchased from SVI.
  16. same here....always have cornmeal in my 9 major gun
  17. I recently purchased these from you and love em....thanks!
  18. Funny...I thought you would die in Production before you switched yet I think you are signed up as Limited for 2/7/16
  19. Sloan's RTS 2 is great so far. I'll keep you updated if we encounter any issues. I think having a strong mount, and keeping everything tight helps. Lest everyone forget, slide rides are not without issues. Had two go out due to cracked switch leads last year. Yes, please keep me posted! I am aware of the issues with the slide rides also. I just didn't want to jump to a platform with more issues....plus I have access to several backup slide rides.
  20. I've used the lee U die on my .40 and it pretty much eliminated those rounds that won't case gauge. I don't get more than 1 or 2 at most out of 100. I'm about to start loading major 9 with a Lee U die and expect the same results. I'll say that if you aren't lubing your cases you will probably want to when using the U die. In my opinion it just makes loading that much smoother.
  21. I'd love to turn a few laps with Rossi ! off topic, but i did the ttbc this near for the cota motogp race where rossi attended. it was pretty cool to be there with him! Obviously it's not really safe for newbs and posers like us to be on the track at the same time as Rossi or other pro roadies, but I got the opportunity to run a national enduro on the same minute with many-time-champion mike lafferty. He's about the same amount faster and more consistent than me as Stoeger is. Funny how it seems several of us transitioned into competitive shooting from motorcycling. I used to race hare scrambles.
  22. here's another https://g2gemini.com/shooting/
