  1. Practiscore no longer lists main match and does in fact list centerfire. There is also a combined tab. Been that way for a couple of years now. Check if your MD is running the latest version of PS.
  2. The 99% that you speak of had the opportunity to reply and didn't. That makes it obvious that they do not care either way.
  3. I just listened to the NROI Podcast December 2022 #2. The reason the proposal didn't move is at the 15:00 minute mark. NROI Podcast - USPSA.ORG They basically said that a survey was sent and less than 1% of the active 7900 SC shooters participated, which did not provide enough information to the board to move forward with any of the proposals.
  4. What's the point of having a wide safety if you do not ride it with your strong hand thumb?
  5. Have the club MD correct the time on the Kindle/ipad, upload to PS, create a new SCSA file and upload to SCSA. The new times will be included the next time SCSA processes scores.
  6. Long's Shadow Huron holster. Excellent quality and definition. The upper section needs a notch cut out to accommodate the thumb rest.
  7. FA Pile Driver. I normally use a Hornady cam lock collet puller in a Lee breach lock single stage press. Recently I had to pull 200 9mm rounds loaded short and an inertia puller was the only option. The Pile Driver has mixed reviews, but i bought one anyway from Midway for $40. It works really well. Much faster than hammer type puller. It is loud, so ear pro is suggested.
  8. I found that the shell plate has to have zero play. Also the indexing block needs to be adjusted so it indexes the shell plate completely. If the ball detent pulls the shell plate a little further to index, the indexing block is not adjusted properly. I prefer the DAA PSP on my 650.
  9. If you have an index bearing cam block it it most likely not adjusted properly. The adjustment is difficult to get perfect. I had two different brands and after thousands of rounds of frustration I installed the OE block. Perfect adjustment in a minute and I absolutely can not feel the difference of having a roller or not. All the other upgrades are worth it. Roller index bearings are waste of money and more importantly a waste of time.
  10. Thanks. Seems odd that the tang of the spring rests on the primer rocker.
  11. I bought an older S1050 a couple of weeks ago. I took it apart to clean, lube and replace a few parts. I'm not sure if I have the Indexer Arm and spring installed correctly. Appreciate it if someone could please verify if this is correct or not. Thanks
  12. I just disassembled a used S1050 that I bought and was surprised to find the crankshaft roller bearings installed in the frame with a loose slip fit. The crank arm bearing has a normal slip fit. I have never seen roller bearings, needle or ball installed in anything without at least a light interference fit. What's the point of using a roller bearing if the outer race can rotate? I'm wondering if I should install the bearings with a little Loctite. New bearings from Dillon cost $27.99 compared to $7.08 from the Amazon link above.
  13. Ordered one 8/8. Shipped yesterday. Should have it Thursday.
  14. We sold our CED's and bought AMGs. Link to podcast with a lot of Info on AMG timers from the developer/builder. It's a little dry, but interesting.
  15. I have the aftermarket primer chute with the small bottle on it. I just advance the primer indexing arm with my trigger finger until it's empty. I store the primers in a small bottle. Full primer tube, I remove the bottle and put a larger bottle under the chute.
  16. I only had to replace Talon tape because I got sloppy with solvent when cleaning the gun. It softened the adhesive in that area. Otherwise it stays in place. Grit for my competition guns, rubber for carry.
  17. Definitely. With the additional 8.4 ozs it actually feels like you are holding on to something. Last fall I bought a Shadow 2 to shoot this year and had CZC cut the slide for CO and do everything they do for an S2. With these mag bases I will be shooting the M&P this year.
  18. I will use them in CO. I would say they are legal if I understand the rules correctly. If you can increase weight with additional rounds and the gun fits the box, that would be ideal. I am in NY. One of a few 10 round max states, so additional rounds are not an option for me.
  19. I think this works really nice. Brass 8.3 0z, aluminum 2.6 oz.
  20. Yes I have one in my M&P 9l. 15k rounds no issues.
