I have 3 slides for my limited. 10mm is very tight. (Original gun) it shoots very accurately. Had .40 conversion fitted. Slide to frame fit is tightest. Barrel play is just a little. It shoots well, but not as well as 10mm. My moral is that most everyone judges the gun by the slide to frame fit, but the accuracy is the tightness of the lock up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes that's my understanding also. So why doesn't it work. Did the guys sell me a 40 slide with a 9 mm barrel? If so how do I prove it. There is definitely a bunch of space above brass casing in the top of the breech face. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there a source for taller ejector on a limited frame. I had my 9 mm conversion kit fitted. Doesn't eject. After extractor tuning it's still only ejects once in a while. My 9mm .40 &10mm uppers all have some significant space. With the taller ejector, I am thinking the 9 mm will eject and I can fit it to the 40 and 10 mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well stated! Those consumed with split times most likely will not have a twinkle in their when speaking of 10mm If your a competitive shooter, then your right. But not because 10mm has no merit. Shooting .40 or 9mm is about economics not ballistic superiority. Or perhaps a follow the pack mentality. I would guess that most of you on this forum are reloaders, so its about the brass pickup. Plentiful pickup of others (or yours) brass. Chasing down the 10mm brass is really the only issue if your a competitive shooter, especially outdoors. So yes 10 mm for hunting, defense, or anyone else that likes the ultimate flexibility in a cartridge that offers a mild to wild load range. After all the .40 is just a 10mm short in the same vein as .380 is to 9mm.

Yes I'm aware of that. However in many manufactures this is theoretical not fact. In some of them the two breech faces are exactly the same. So does any of you know this to be the case that these two guns are really different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So far, I've just tested factory federal and win white box 9mm. 10mm base gun is fine with light factory loads & 9gr longshot with various 180 grain bullets. Gun is pretty new. Got used but was near new. I would guess around 1000 rounds or less. I've shot approx 200 - 250 10mm rounds Yes slide seems free by hand movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I picked up a 9mm witness limited barrel, put it in my 10mm limited frame & slide. It shoots accurately but I have cycling issues. It stovepipes every 4 rounds +/- I have tried several springs including the spring from my match 9mm without much change. I realize this could be the extractor, but seems unlikely to me compared to the spring. (Could be wrong) What spring rates should I try before giving up on fitting this barrel. Thanks in advance

I got witness limited used. Sight was swapped to fiber optic. (Height is ?) Gun shot high and I backed out sight (UP) too far and screw & spring are out. I have fought with this for a while. What's the procedure? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
