I'm running mine on a standard witness match lower frame. Started out life as a 9 mm, it runs perfect. I've shot mostly federal target loads.
I know this isn't any help, I really don't have any suggestions for you.

Just purchased a 9 mm/22 caliber. Haven't picked it up yet. Three day rule in my state.
It's a polymer 3.6 straight barrel
Am I making a mistake? Can u get any small frame stuff.
Maybe I should get P Carry. It's large frame.

I think those are a bit of a unicorn. Especially in 40. You might find one in 10 mm and swap the barrels

You have anymore of these barrels for sale? Looks like I didn't move fast enough on the other one.You can drop a 9mm barrel into it (I even have a 6" barrel for sale

Looking at getting p carry to replace or supplement my shield.
I know the p carry has a cast in place front sight. So milling is. needed. Is there enough metal to dovetail?
Is rear cut Novak or ??
Would CZ95 sights fit this gun?

But the 10 mm isn't designed to have a bullet pressed down that far. It's supposed to be a longer OAL.

You have a point. 10 mm not a race gun caliber.^^^^^^ Obviously a "10mm guy"
It's a really flexible caliber it's fun to shoot but it just doesn't fit the cheap brass category.
My 10 mm Limited is the most accurate gun I own. And I have 40 upper, and 9 mm upper for the same frame.

Seems like you guys are never shot a real 10 mm load before. By that I mean 1250 FPS On a 180 or 200 grain bullet.
You need the case capacity with number nine or longshot to get the powder in there.
