  1. Good brass, good packaging, fast shipper. Thanks.
  2. I got a new #3 link, installed it, and checked it per Charlie’s excellent instruction. Fits as it should. This gun is very well used, probably more accurately abused and it’s been awesome. If it was fit wrong I think it would have broken long ago. Let’s not turn this into an STI bash. Thanks again for all the advice.
  3. Thanks for all your time and knowledge.
  4. Thanks for the help. Multiple measurements convince me it’s #3.
  5. How do I determine size if it’s not marked? I have both pieces and a caliper in my hand. Thanks.
  6. Barrel link in my very well used 9mm Trojan broke yesterday. Usually shoot the standard 147/3.2 Titegroup load but was shooting aluminum case Federal 115s because I hate picking brass out of snow. Not cold enough to be an issue, 20 degrees F. Coincidence? I think if it was bad fit it would have broken long ago? Should I just replace the link or send it to STI? Thanks.
  7. I have one on mine that he made. Did Cmmg change something?
  8. Use the 77s for the same reason you use them for spinners. They hit harder making the RO's job easier for both of you. This is particularly true when shooting flashers with no spotter on an optic.
  9. I have a CMMG Colt lower that's been very good. As stated above, it's a standard forging with a Colt size hole in it, leaving plenty of material for the Dremel wizard in all of us. My bolt and barrel are CMMG also, they make good stuff. So do a lot of other outfits, too. Everybody I know has a different brand of PCC, they all work well.
  10. JoeBob Outfitters has 3 packs of Gen2 Pmags for $14.95.
  11. Tried a TTI M&P +4 my wife has. Might fit with some work but she gets mad when I grind up her stuff. Put it back where I found it.
  12. To clarify, TF +10 Glock extension works on Colt SMG mag? Thanks.
  13. Indeed. I heard TTI Glock pads might work. Anybody who has both care to try it?
  14. Loose grip screws and/or broken grip screw bushings will cause hammer follow as well. More accurately, I think it causes trigger bounce, in turn hammer follow.
  15. Mine has a QD mount in it, is yours different? I don't use it though. Proctor sling for me.
  16. 4 minutes, 16 seconds this year. These guys put on a great match.
  17. I've handled the SP3R. A little bigger than what I like, but very stout. And very flat on the bottom. Seem to be popular. I just got a 15" NOXS and I like it very much. Mounting seems very strong and was easy to install. Very light. I don't think you can go wrong with Seekins, also big supporter of multigun.
  18. 147 Bayou at 1.14" in wife's Trojan. It's what I shoot in my Glock so that's what she gets too. Runs perfect, Dawson mags.
  19. Another Boss lover here. I tried everything, even made an adapter plate to mount a Bladetech holster to the belt part of a Ghost Ultimate. That worked pretty well, not the same class as the Boss. Spent way more than $50 of my time making the damn thing. The first day I did live fire with the Boss I shot the plate I made full of holes. I believe practice makes me better, not gear. This thing may be an exception.
  20. I use a vacuum. I hope the sky doesn't fall on my head. Humor aside, canned air and most other canned things that spray out use propane as the propellant. Be thoughtful about where you squirt them. Do not use canned air to dust out anything with a burner or heating element. Tends to muss up your hair when the pool of propane woofs at you.
