  1. Thank you so much! Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  2. Hey guys. I need a measurement please. Anyone with a gold team or a limited please let me know the distance from the slide stop pin to the 1st hole and distance from the 1st hole to last. I need this measurement from the right side of the gun. I have an old 3 hole frame but want to do the new 4 hole pattern on the right side. Thank you! Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  3. Nvm I guess I did use a plate. It's been a few years since I set this up. Idk why its rotating the pics sideways Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  4. I did a straight mount. I don't think I needed any plates. Pretty solid. I'll post pics in just a sec Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  5. I have that same one. I use a Burris FF3 on it. I don't believe I had to modify it. Works pretty well. Not sure on the vortex. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  6. *120 grain. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  7. I have a Lee 122g mold that shoots really really well in 38 Super comp. I want to start powder coating soon but I don't have enough time to cast for much more than practice at the moment Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  8. Hey guys. Tried the search feature and all I got was stuff about loading Montana GOLD bullets. Not a fan of the apps search feature but it's what I have to work with. Looking for a good ball park place to start and or pet loads for a 9 major gold team. V12 with the 2 port comp. I have some 115s and a lot of 124s Hoping to figure out what shoots best and make an order of either 115 or 124s. 8.5g silhouette under a 115g Montana gold ran great. Old load for a sti. I need to chrono the GT and see where I'm at. I have silhouette, HS-6, AA7, WAC, and CFE. Barrel has been reamed and I'm using 38 super mags so OAL doesn't have to be short. Thank you all! 9. 90s 38 super limited pro with factory drill n tap. Old 3 hole pattern. Factory slide with Canyon creek built comp an 2 top ports. Tanfoglio gold team 9maj upper as well :-) gun shoots super soft with 9 and 38. Absolutely love this set up! Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  10. Another possibility may be a CZ. You could get a brand new Czechmate for less that 3000$ 9mm major. Hell for 3k u could get the gun, rig, mags and a nice new comp if u didn't like the one it came with. Sorry, I know that's not really an answer to what your looking at but you may want to look at one? Perhaps take a read on the CS and tanfoglio forum. 2011's are great! Don't get me wrong, but cz and tanfoglio is also a good option and worth a look. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  11. No, however this one is on me. I didn't keep up with PM and it started to chatter a bit when jogging(without cutting). Then the next day it sized. I messed up plain n simple. I'm just really hopeful that I can fix it. I'll keep everyone posted. Have some help coming this weekend. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  12. I did. Driver is fine. It will jog fine with no issues when detached. I just can't get the table to move. Even with the manual lash adjustment wheel attached. When the driver is on it will spin a bit the the clutch kicks in. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  13. Hey guys, I know we have a lot of hoby and professional machinists on here. I need some help. I purchased a pcnc 1100 some time ago and the X axis has since locked up. I've tried a lot of things to fix it. The motor is good. The bearings are good. The gibs are fine. All I can think is the ball screw but the table is siezed in the middle of the travel, And I cannot access it at the moment. I've contacted a local company to come out and I got stood up and they haven't rescheduled. I'm in central Florida. I have some friends coming by with a hoist and flat jacks next weekend. I am going to try 2 things. I think if I can neutralise the weight of the table I may be able to get it to move and I can run it to the full travel on each sides and clean the ways then check the lash for speck. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try a few things to get to the ball screw from the bottom. See if that is part of the issue. I know there is a ton more knowledge here than what I've been able to Google. Does anyone have any bits of advice or something i may have overlooked that I can check without removing the table or needing a lift? Also does anyone know of a repair man in central FL or know how to fix them and local? Any help here would be great! Thank you all for your time. Josh. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  14. This is absolutely awesome man! Please keep us all posted on how it runs! Really great work. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  15. Nice zev build! How does the comp look? Gun run well?? Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  16. Picked up a small frame .40 open gun from the mid 90s. Will go 9mm major once funds allow. .40 upper will be a ipsc modified gun perhaps too. Always wanted one! Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  17. Metal frames for glock is cig race frames. Run w a steel rod and it WILL shear lugs. They recommend factory rod for flex. Dvd is also out if business. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  18. I think this sounds fun. Really really fun! It will be a super light gun, with that being said... 9 major out of a polymer gun is a bit harsh. The steel guns shoot softer due to the weight and the distribution of the weight in proportion to the cycling mass. Having a super heavy magwell, heavy guide rod, thumb rest and super light slide may help to offset some of this but I would imagine it would still have some kick to it. I can't wait to hear more about it and see how it looks/runs! 9 major may work great, it may be better off as a steel gun. Either way if you can keep the muzzle down the traditions will be super quick! I've wanted to do a g19 open build for some time now. I was really looking at the 19x before it came out and I saw it was a 2 pin not 3 pin frame. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  19. AA7 is great! Side by side w 3n38 I can't tell a diff. It's a bit dirty but not as flashy as 3n38. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  20. I liked long shot. It's VERY loud! I will say that. Especially if you have any barrel ports. For 38 super 3n38 or N105 where my absolute favorite. Hs7 was awesome too but it's gone now... Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  21. Not much help on the load data but I think u will really like the czechmate. I know open is dominated by 2011 guns but I run an open tanfoglio and love it. The weight and low bore axis make it a really soft shooter. I've had a few 2011's and keep going back to my tanfo. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  22. Gas. Comps change it up 100% Shoot a 147 production load out of an open gun with 3n38 or hs-6 under a 115g or 124g and you will know and feel the difference! There's more "recoil" but it's all straight back. Very very little up and down motion. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  23. Ok. Book says 3.7g clays for a 115. 3g cycles in my 5in 1911 and my sig p938. You may have to go higher or drop recoil springs Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  24. You bet. Start a bit lower ymmv and safety warnings apply. I can't recall what the book data is for clays in 9 w 115 and claydot isn't recommended for metallic carriages from what I've read but I've also read from alliant that claydot is a grain for grain replacement for clays so it's up to you and what you feel safe with. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
  25. My mouse fart for plinking 9mm is 3g clays or clay dot under a 115 xtream. Really fun and soft to shoot. Saw a bunch of .40 loads didn't see much 9. For 147g the same load works but it's a bit hotter and makes minor. Back it off a bit if u use it for sub minor w 147. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using Tapatalk
