Does any one sight help with this as in the giant dots vs a FO. I find that the red FO is a quick find for me and the green seems to allow more sight of the target but this seems to makes me shoot with a sense of confidence that tends to make misses more apparent.

Awesome I was looking for a good reason to buy an air soft.

Like the idea of same platform, currently my match gun has a thumb safety and my carry does not.

I have a 34 and a smaller grip and it seems a long reach for me. I'll try the back strap removal and let you know.

The FO is very nice in red. I've recently bought a gun that has a green dot and it seemed hard to see. But if you are wanting to see the entire target I'd say it's less of a distraction and more of a point and shoot. Very close to a sight that you would normally shoot from the top.

I definitely feel that a starting pace ingrains the muscle memory.

I've just started this summer shooting in a few matches and trying to find a comfortable Platform for both. I'm shooting a Cz75 that I love in the matches and a Glock 23 accompanies me daily. Thinking of going to a metal frame for CC since I'm more accurate with them.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the sport of pistol shooting. I grew up hunting small game and being outdoors with the family so not totally new to firearms. Some friends shoot USPSA and I've wanted to try it after buying a few pistols. I've been to a few matches and am looking to gain some knowledge and have some fun. Thanks to everyone who has put out the Newbie posts. There is a ton of good information especially about first matches.
