  1. I have used Wilson .45 mags for my 10mm and had no problems, but I don't know how they will do with a .40.
  2. Ok. Guess I'm gonna have to go searching for a 9mm TS.
  3. Thanks, guys. I haven't bought the pistol yet. Wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna be stuck with a .40 first. But if I can get them to take this gawdawful Kimber on trade I may pick it up soon. The one I was looking at is the Tactical Sport. aandabooks, I may take you up on that.
  4. Hadn't taken that one into consideration. What about converting a 40 to 9mm? Is the breechface too large or does CZ like some other mfrs. use the same breechface for both?
  5. Just found a CZ75 SA that I really like except for one thing. It's .40 SW. Would love to convert it to 38 Super. I know the frame will be fine but can I get away with a barrel and spring swap or will I need a new slide as well?
  6. Zatoichi: The Blind Samurai. So many cool, fine details to watch and listen for.
  7. The pessimist sees the glass half empty. The Optimist sees the glass half full. The Idealist sees a glass that should always be full. The realist sees a half a glass. I am a Realist. The glass cannot always be full. And I do not know if it is half full or half empty. If it was empty and only filled halfway then it is half full. If it was full and half of it was consumed it is half empty. But without all of the facts I can only say it is half a glass.
  8. I would say it's on the north-east side of a mountain and only getting sun in the morning. Are there other cacti near it? Are they growing the same direction?
  9. I've had this thing and that thing and a lot of other things but I never liked any of them as much as my own thing.
  10. Once found a dead frog in a dryer vent. It had been there for quite some time as it was totally dried out. Named it the Ethiopian Frog.
  11. Like water, I seek my own level.
  12. Never goose a bull. No matter how much fun it looks.
  13. I have one on my .45 and love it. it works great even with grips that aren't relieved.
  14. That has been one of my favorite quotes since I first saw this video many years ago. I have this bookmarked on youtube and would LOVE to see this as a regular sanctioned event.
  15. Millet used to make an adjustable rear sight that fit the GI rear dovetail. Haven't seen anything of them for years. Don't know if they are still in business or not. If not, maybe someone else has taken up the reins. As for mags, I been using Shooting Stars since the early 90s. Never found anything better for the 45.
  16. Sounds like a pretty good idea to me. But I may be a bit biased....
  17. Never saw a real need for one, but I'm right handed. Even shooting left handed I can flip the safety on with my index finger.
  18. It would have taken a little effort for me to watch it. To me it was not worth the effort. Especially when all the commercials were on youtube the next morning.
  19. I'm missing it. I am not at all disappointed for it. Does that make me un-American?
  20. You plan your truck driving route so you can shut down near some of the great ranges and pop off a few. Like The Arena, Laredo, TX and The Royal Range outside Nashville, or....
