Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I usually dry the brass quickly with compressed air and then let it air dry on a towel. I find that if 15 minutes before I am done wet tumbling I rinse out all the dirty water and put fresh water back in the tumbler and some lemishine rinse. Then run it for the last 15 minutes with the fresh water and rinse. After that I rinse the cases for about 2 minutes with the hose. Unfortunately, I have very hard water in my area and any water left on the cases oxidizes quickly. I think I will try moonman's suggestion as I really don't want to add another step to my cleaning process or maybe I can buy another drum for the tumbler and use it for the dry. Thank you for all the responses. This is my first experience using a forum ever and it is amazingly helpful and filled with knowledge. Thank you guys
  2. Hi everyone this is my first post. I have been reloading around a year and have a thumblers tumbler and stainless media to clean my brass along with dish soap and lemishine. I find that if I wait too long(2 weeks) to inspect my brass I have a hard time inspecting it due to the oxidation/hard water spots that develop on the surface. I see lots of people use Nu Finish with dry medias but was wondering if anyone has tried it with wet tumbling as a final rinse cycle. Highly polished brass is nice to look at, but my main concern is having the brass clean and shiny to inspect, and not have the oxidation block any defects. I may just give it a try and see what happens.
