  1. You should get one of those kits from Taylor Freelance that comes with the giant spring and the +10 basepad! This one: http://taylorfreelance.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=117 Thanks a lot. I was not aware of this.... And I didn't need that $50 anyway...
  2. Totally dependent on the target. If you're shooting paper I'd say top competitive shooter without hesitation. If you're talking about a life or death shot where a human life is taken then I'd default to top military sniper. The stress added when a life hangs in the balance is dramatic and a military sniper has trained and mentally prepared for taking a life and that stress is potentially going to take less of a toll on the results. The absolute best competitive shooter in the world, skill wise, simply may not be mentally capable or prepared to take a shot on another human being. Sent from
  3. 8.95 seconds, 67 pts 7.4860 HF.. Showing 80.06% in Single Stack. This is a decent classifier, that middle target certainly makes you have to focus in the middle of each pass or you'll pay the price! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It will most likely slow down! Haha.. Congrats on the baby tho! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 3-4 including 1 or 2 majors each month during the shooting season.. I'm finding a great (as in positive) problem this year with several weekends where I have multiple matches that I'd like to shoot and have to make a choice. Sure beats not being able to find somewhere to go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just shot this one last week. I am happy with the result.. felt quick on the draw and no bobbles on the reloads. 3.59 and 3.62 strings w/ 100pts ended up 13.8696 HF and according to AZ Shooters that should be good for 92.9% in production. Guess to be able to ace it I would have to have a quicker reaction time and faster reloads.. whew, that would not be easy, for me anyway.
  7. I also think it's a solid idea. I am not sure if I'll shoot it, but being able to get a rear dovetail mount for my shadow is much more of a possibility than me buying and setting up a whole new competition gun to give the division a try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just used this thread to help me work thru a polish job and installing CGW internals on a new CZ75 compact ... THANK YOU! Great resource! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. For me it's Lee dies, no head stamp sort, and yes lubed cases. Once they make it into the sizing die it's smooth sailing. And the press came as a 9mm set up originally. No rifle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've had this issue since I got my 650 last year. Sometimes it's very infrequent and sometimes it's 5 out of 10. Very frustrating. I chalk it up to me using it the cheapest possible brass (range pick ups). If I was buying new brass and still having this problem I would not be satisfied till it was fixed. 11. No. Put your loaded rounds in it with the media of your choice and run for 15 minutes to get rid of case lube. what case lube??????? Something you should be using. Have never used it in the 15 years or so of reloading...why "should" I be using it? I would say give it a try. You might just surprise yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ya prior to going with a CZ I had stocked up on a few S&B primers so my current situation is dropping in a 11.5lbs spring for practice and shooting the S&Bs up and then going with 8.5 and Feds for matches. In all truth I can't say I can really notice a huge difference after the buzzer between the 8.5 and 11.5, but as long as I can find federal primers I'll keep using 8.5 when I can. That DA is SOOOOOO light and smooth. I spent 10 years shooting a stock SigP229 for work so the CZ trigger is like a newfound miracle to me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The weights here are what I experienced, and I absolutely love it. Best trigger I've ever felt on a handgun. Wish there was some way to get this and be reliable with all primers. Mine was also only reliable with Federal. But the trigger is so great I'll just try and buy federal from now on so I can take advantage of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I still seem to get decently quick shipping. Usually arrives about 3 days after I order... And I'm in Indiana. I've also debated the new shipping program. Their shipping costs are decent for huge orders but a small part is not really worth it when shipping is $8 minimum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
