    320 X5 Questions

I just set one up and put in the springer tungsten guide rod. I’m using a 12lb spring but with hotter factory ammo would guess you would not want to go that low. I like the added weight though. I’d also recommend silicon carbide treating the grip or adding grip tape to your preference as it is pretty slick. Also have a gray guns competition trigger on the way but don’t have experience on one yet. I’ve only shot a couple week night matches with mine but am pretty impressed with it so far. 2. Crazy must be relative. I was able to handle Keen’s at WIIT and it was lighter than my Atlas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Mine is a mid length atlas chaos with 2 popples and no it doesn’t get anything on the glass. I was shocked that it didn’t. If you have any questions on the mounts don’t hesitate to email the maker. He is great to deal with and super fast to respond. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yes. I use their single side wide frame mount on a wide frame gun and dot is centered. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe Infinity? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Holosun 510c is it’s own mount style. The small Holosun is same mounting design as RMR. That isn’t the Holosun being discussed here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Atlas chaos 9mm. Bought mine before they offered the Holosun so it has a Tevo sports mount. 9.8gr of AA7 with a 124gr JHP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m around 3k on my 510c so far and no issues at all. Shot my first quasi major match with it. One mag related malfunction but optic did its job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m using just the dot also with the Holosun 510C. Only a couple thousand rounds on it but had been working great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just curious. You guys that buy match brass, are you roll sizing your range brass? I was already roll sizing before I switched to open so have always roll sized it. If you are roll sizing what advantage are you getting from purchasing “match ready” brass? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I just received mine in 9mm. Slide is smooth and very well fitted. But not anything like it will be after fully being broke in. they are fitted prior to being coated and the coating will need broke in. Which was explained in the paperwork I received with mine. And is pretty typical. After 1k rounds it is much smoother. You are likely just feeling the coating rubbing. Use thin oil like recommended and use a heavier recoils spring if necessary during break in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Silhouette and HS6 both worked well in my open tanfoglios Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. A lot of stages are written in that manner. Doesn’t mean there is a specific target order to shoot them. It is just indicating that all targets must be shot both before and after the reload. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Reload could used cleaned up. Looked pretty good otherwise. Except it appears you are using closer target presentation than is typical for el prez also though, so that changes times a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The Everglades holster is working great with my chaos. Another to consider. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Tevo single side for wide frame Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I put one on the Chaos I just received. Don’t have enough rounds down range to make judgement yet but like it so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Weight. And no flex in grip. I also went from sand paper wrapped sti frame to aggressive PT evo so no need for any type of grip enhancer anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Same as all above. Unless it is on a EDC gun then I see no reason to choose RMR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes it fits on STI grip. And it comes in a few colors. I got silver. Comes in lighter and heavier versions also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. In my opinion learning the ability to call your shots will up your game in both limited and open to the next level. That’s the only way to become consistently good without any need to hope or “spray n pray “. Personally I don’t like bouncing back and forth between irons and optic as I don’t have that amount of time to put in and still reach the goals I have set. If time isn’t a limiting factor then you should be able to train both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So is there a general consensus as to within the same brand whether rifle or magnum are harder? Or is it variable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I use pistol magnum but can’t say I’ve ever compared anything to the standard Pistol primers I was using. Fed magnum were available last time I stocked up so I bought 30k. Not sure it makes a lot of difference. May try rifle next time if they are better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Dryfire until the dot is a confirmation on the target that is only there a fraction of a second before your eyes snap to next target, rather than allowing yourself to focus on the dot and follow it from target to target. That alone will bump your level of open shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I prefer them. More contact and gun feels locked in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
