Limcat was running hotter loads since it was a shorty but I shot similar performance level with both. Like the evo grip a lot but it may still be a tad slower for me on reloads. Still like it though. I only shoot 9mm. 38sc was a borrowed gun a buddy let me try out before I owned a 2011. I’m only M and to me they shoot very similar if load is set up good. Top guys may see it differently. I messed around with loads enough that I think you can tune them to your preference to make 9mm work if you want to. At the end of the day a reliable running gun is going to mean more anyway. I’ve got a 9mm major Limcat. Shoots great. Should have it back in a few weeks. Was a shorty. Having it built into a middy with H barrel. I think if you dryfire enough then it doesn’t really matter. You have the natural index trained up for that dot and mount combination. That being said when I switched guns I set the new one up with a 510c and like it a lot. After several months of dryfire and shooting it, I can’t imagine switching back. Possibly more forgiving than a smaller screen size but if the index is off then it is just off and I don’t think once off that far that any optic would make a difference. I used Romeo 3, RTS2, DPP PRO, and Romeo 1 along with the 510c I have now. None were enough difference to change overall performance level. It just comes down to picking one you like and drilling in the index through repetition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a 9mm atlas with Holosun I’ve been shooting since March. Also have a Limcat. Shot venom, CK, and sti dvc before deciding on the atlas. It will be largely preference and likely what level you shoot at to determine how much difference you find between them. For what it’s worth I think you chose well. I’d strongly recommend calling them up and telling them you want an aftec fitted in it. My fault. Read the grip part. I wouldn’t expect the *thumb rest [generic]* to be legal. I use one on a duty gun that is 40cal and it certainly helps. But I would expect that is NOT legal in CO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not a rule expert but I would expect that the rules that apply would be the one that allows for stippling, undercutting etc. and then the maximum weight rule. It is a factory grip after all that has been stippled and weighted. I don’t have one of the SSI and haven’t seen one. But I know of some local shooters who built up their own. I have opposite. I have one on my Chaos also but purchased before atlas made a mount. So I have the tevo mount. No blast on glass at all. However I do have some marks on back of optic body indicating some impacts. Ejected fine though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
