  1. LOK has on their website that small frame palmswell Tanfo grips are coming soon, but not large frame yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The Romeo body is slightly longer than the RTS2 front to back. But screw pattern is same. And yes in my case dropped right on with no modification. If your mount had an angled blast shield on the front then it may hit the front of the Romeo 3 where it protrudes longer than the RTS2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. IPSC Alex- fits the RTS2 mount Mine is tanfo but they make STI also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The tanfo comp is done? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Has anyone tried something like an EGW comp on a tanfoglio? Even with popple holes my 3 port Tanfo comp isn’t nearly as effective as my other gun with a custom comp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. A palmswell grip similar to the one LOK makes for the shadow 2 would be perfect for me, but they don’t offer it for Tanfo yet. The PD palmswell is a little large but using that currently with an oversized mag button and it works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cone comp with popples on a Tanfo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’ll get some pictures when i get that gun here in a couple days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Shoot me a message with price. I have a couple MBX but would like some welded ones. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Anyone know if these run in tanfoglio’s or take a lot of work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m relatively newer to open, but is this considered a lot of buildup? Both of these guns have over 5k each of blue Bullets after I switched from FMJ’s and I didn’t notice a difference in comp crud at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I use an open Tanfo but run 8.6 of HS6 with a 115 blue bullet and it shoots great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Typically a lot of mods. They come with insanely heavy triggers. I have an extra currently already set up with the Patriot defense usual parts and such but mine is in 40 minor and I’m guessing you are looking for 9mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I’ve only got 6 months on the RTS2. No issues. Frame mounted. My buddy is using 2 dp pro’s on carry optics guns and broke both. From what I hear Leupold has a service hold currently on the fix for his specific issue. It is only with the motion activation though so it still works fine for competition use. He just has to ensure it is on before the stage since the issue is it will shut off automatically and then not turn back on with motion like it is supposed to. I haven’t tried the DP’s myself. 16. If you want help with the testing let me know. I run open tanfoglios built on limiteds. And run holes in both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Was using 125gr when I got the holes cut. Now I use 115. I shoot blue coated though. Same load you are using with the PD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I have a am RTS2 on primary and a Romeo 3 on backup. Probably only 5K on Romeo but no issues so far. Prefer the 6moa of my RTS2 but if they were equal size dots I’d probably be running 2 6moa romeos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That’s not exactly an apples to apples comparison though. Buying a factory open Tanfo vs a custom build 2011. If this un-named “top shooter” was telling you to not buy the factory Tanfo and instead to get a factory STI open gun that would be an equal statement. I have one gun with a factory Tanfo comp and no, I don’t find it up to par against STI based open guns I’ve shot. (All of which had more effective comps). However my custom built Tanfo with a large canyon creek comp runs flatter than the several custom and factory 2011’s I’ve used. Personally I don’t find it a detriment In any way against a 2011. But all that being said I don’t think it matters. Buy what you like and tune it to run optimally for you. After that only the training matters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I started shooting open with an RTS2 after they were on rev4 and all bugs seem to have been worked out. I have had no issues with mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I like the IPSC Alex mount and thumbrest a lot. Use them on both my guns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. 6lb in a severely lightened slide Tanfo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have no experience with the gold team. I use two limiteds which were converted to open by canyon creek. Both in 9mm major One has the tanfoglio 3 port comp with thin barrel and other one has a 4 port canyon creek comp and heavy cone barrel. the gun with the 4 port comp is noticeably flatter. Both have 3 popple holes cut in same locations. Both make major very easily. I use lightened slides on both and run light recoil springs and both have been reliable except for ammo issues that were my fault figuring out OAL and such. I made M in 3 months swapping between both of them which is where I’m at in production so don’t feel like the guns are holding me back or anything. Recently shot the spartan 300 with the backup gun and took first open. I only get 28rds in a big stick. Aside from that I don’t see a disadvantage especially if you want to keep shooting what you are familiar with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yes, I have 2 that run without issue in two guns. Bought both used so don’t know if they have been squeezed but look unmodified to me. They ran 125 TC Bullets at 1.165 without problem and are now running 115gr round nose at 1.155 just fine. I seem to be in the minority though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Interesting they went that direction with it. It kinda looks like the shield with a different housing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
