I haven’t been able to find any cracks but do have damage to the barrel lockup area I tried the barrel from my other gun and think I tore it up also. It ran fine in this gun but wasn’t grouping well so I pulled out the barrel and it has more damage than this one now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

John You are correct. Don’t have it figured out yet but dropped in the barrel and slide lock from my other gun and it ran just fine. So narrowed down. I’ll inspect both and figure it out. I Use cone fit guide rods in both guns. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ended up being able to pound out the pin and slide came off fine once out. No noticeable material that could have been binding it up. Degreased everything and put back together and it functions fine dry. Will try shooting again tomorrow and see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a failure to eject and the brass remained on extractor and was rammed back into the chamber. I used a screwdriver from muzzle end and whacked it and it popped the brass right out. I test loaded and in dryfire it cycled fine. Extractor and ejector looked intact so I tried again. Same result. Was able to pop out the brass again in same manner. Took it home and checked it out thinking ejector must be broken but when compared to my other guns it appeared fine. Took it out today and fired one round and locked it up extremely tight. Beat on it with hammer /screwdriver and nothing. No movement at all. Stripped the optic, mount and everything and it just seems completely locked. Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

May already be common knowledge but was new to me. I use the IPSC Alex mounts on my tanfoglios for open. I knew the mount would work for the RTS2 and also the Romeo 3 since they have same footprint. Last night I found you can easily pop the pins out of the mount and it also fits the Leupold DPP and the Romeo 1 optics also. So for the few of us using Tanfo’s in open the same mount can work for quite a few optic options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wouldn’t worry that much about 50yd group size unless it is drastic. What feels good in the gun when shooting rapid is what you will be doing 90% of the time in open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use the plastic ones cut down on a magwell gun and they have hard lines that I don’t see on these. Could be though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use a couple of the MBX mags. They work in my gun but others have had issues with them. Some people are using 2 9mm mags welded together but I have not tried one of those yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Last I spoke with canyon creek was months back. But his comp was made to order and I believe he needed to instal one barrel and possibly modify slide. (Not sure on slide). I’ll have to drop into my extra slide to confirm. I’ll let kneeling atlas speak to his. My understanding from conversion is that his current comp is for gold team guns only and is made for the extra barrel that those guns come with. I only use limited conversion guns so that doesn’t work with my setups. He has plans for the limited conversion guns later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
