I use a paint pen and paint the rim groove, yes it take a little time but everyone at my local range knows my brass when they see it. It is also very easy to see laying on the ground. I use a light blue paint pen I get at WalMart.

You can always do Tungsten and Graphite Black. Everyone that sees this gun comments on how good looking it is.

I had the same problem, broke a couple allen wrenches tried all the chemicals and the heat tricks could not anything to work. I ended up drilling a pilot hole in each screw and then using a dremel tool and cut a deep slot in each of the screws and was able to get them out. It should be a given that I destroyed the mount but got it off.

If your are looking for a Extreme Shooters I have a red/black grip I would consider selling.

I use the STI extended on all my pistols and love them. Although others that have shot my pistols have had problems dropping the mags unintentionally.
