I have 2 relatives that work for Diamondback. According to them, Taurus now has the all advertising and distributions rights for all Diamondback firearms. They can not pass Taurus' QC checks. They had a lot of 500 9mm rejected because of slide to frame tolerances. DB has let go some of their best machinists because they don't want to hear about the QC issues that have been brought up on the production line. My relatives have been told to "shut up and sitdown" after trying to find ways to improve quality. I have shot everything DB makes. All the pistols are sub par. The only thing worth mentioning is their ARs. But, the one I shot was custom made by my brother-in-law and tuned by a gunsmith that left the company because of management's lack of quality improvement. This guy is retired special forces and has been an armorer and gunsmith for over 20 years.
