The idiot that wrote this missed one thing. He says him not obeying traffic rules won't kill someone, wrong. If he pulls the crap he stated, and hits someone on a motorcycle, like me, he could seriously injure or kill me.
These folks do think they own the road. They were restricted from using a long bridge in my area because of safety concerns. The cycle community got the restriction removed. And what happen the very next day? 2 were killed because they were ridding in the traffic lane instead of the newly mark bicycle lane, at night.
They insist on traveling the very narrow roads along the river. They ride double and triple wide on roads that have a 55 mph speed limit and wonder why drivers almost run them over.
I guess they don't realize that the clothes they wear, I'm sure they think they look cool wearing shirts that look like they have sponsors, do nothing to enhance their safety. One of the rules of the road is to be see and be seen. So how about wearing a safety vest in orange or yellow? No wait, that's not cool looking. They need to look like they are competing in the Tour de France.
Or perhaps they are all doping. They participate in the world most doped up sport. That may explain why the act and ride the way they do.

I picked up and EMP4 yesterday. I cleaned and lube it (slide glide where needed). Ran 500 rounds thru in a 3 hour range session. Broke it down, no wear I can see, everything locks up nice and tight. Next week it will get another 500 round run thru it shooting some fun matches. Only one malfunction, slide failed to lock back at the end of the first mag. Once it hits 2000 runs it will going in to my carry rotation.
I think this one will hold up well.

Safety goes off when it's in front off me. Stays off for reloads.

For dry fire/par times practice I use the Surefire Shottimer app. That's about all its good for. You really can not hear it during live fire unless it's right next to your ear protection. It's possible to set the db detection, but it's a pain to get right. The app is free.

You still can't skirt the SBR issue. ATF has decided firing from the shoulder with the arm brace is a no-no. I'm waiting for a Sig collapsing stock. My LGS says it's on the way and should come in next week. My form 1 is pending. I filed it early to get past some of the wait time. The gun is a pistol version with no arm brace. I've had it for 6 weeks and not fired it. I'm waiting for the stock, the approval and to get the lower engraved.
While I'm waiting my LGS has one set up as a SBR in the same configuration mine will be, and I've been shooting it quite a bit. It's set up with an Aim Point and a short fore grip.. It runs great. I'm looking forward to getting mine completed.
As a side note, firing while holding the arm brace on the cheek and off the shoulder appears to be ok. My LGS has asked a couple folks shooting with MPXs with arm braces to leave after seeing them shooting from the shoulder.

Christmas Day @ 2 pm 88, east central Florida across from the Cape. Every morning since last Monday at 5 am 72 +/- 2 degrees. It's been so hot, the snow birds are staying in their houses with the a/c running.

Had my knees replaced, right 3 years ago, left 2 years ago. The pain is gone, I have great mobility in my right knee. My right tibia plateau was fractured 16 years ago and I could not walk long distances or stand very much. Now I'm 95% of were I was before the fracture. My left was destroyed by the issues with my right knee.
The left is now 100%. I can run on them, but I don't like to. I can kneel, but don't because of the numbness the surgery caused. It just feels too wierd.
Overall the replacements were a good choice for me. I compete, but I know my limitations. And that's fine. For me it's enough to just be doing the best I can at a match.

My themed collection is 1911s. Old, new makes no difference. But I'm partial to Colts. 7 colts and 5 from other manufactures so far.

Got 2 from my LGS for less the 16.00 each including tax. I've run about 250 rounds thru each one. No issues or problems to this point. The lack of a metal liner or witnesses holes, for me, is not an issue.

I have the same round gauge dive computer! My set of Poseiden and Sherwood regulators are still in good shape. I have no idea why I keep my stuff either. Perhaps it's time to donate it to a museum.

I have 2005 Team Match II, internal extractor, with approx 11,000 rounds thru it. About the only thing I have changed on it is the springs and front sight. The team match series are a bullseye gun and that's what I shoot with it most of the time. The gun shoots tight groups if I do my part. It had the typical FTE issues during break in. Since then no issues and it eats any ammo I feed it. I have also shot it in practical/tactical matches and done fairly well. I also have a Springfield RO, in 45 ACP, that's is no were as smooth and does not have the fit and finish as good as the Kimber. I too, wish Kimber would support more of the shooting sports. But I don't think it's going to happen. There are folks that like them, folks that don't, and folks that are stuck on the use of MIM parts.I've been shooting a Kimber Gold Combat II for the past 10 years without complaint. If I were to buy another 1911 in 9mm to compliment my current .45acp, I'd absolutely consider using a Kimber as my base gun to build an awesome Single Stack/Classic division blaster around. Over the years I have swapped out a bunch of parts on my current Kimber (adjustable sights, magwell, competition safeties, flat trigger) but it's nothing unusual to customize those parts in any 1911, and I shot it for a long while as stock.
I agree with Greyhounder that the biggest hold-back for Kimber in USPSA is Kimber's lack of support for our sport. I don't think this is anti-USPSA in any way (I HAVE seen some video of Kimber shooters, but they may have been more IDPA... or just employees wearing the shirts???), but rather (I believe) they've chosen to concentrate their support for Olympic style bullseye shooting instead. As far as Kimber staying out of USPSA, this hurts them in two ways: 1) we tend to support the companies that support us; and, 2) their guns aren't out-of-the-box competition ready because they don't have the benefit of USPSA shooter input in designing their guns. Instead, they tend to build guns that have "tactical" safeties, sights, etc., etc., with I think one exception that is more bullseye in nature.
The excellent gunsmith (and GM shooter) I use actually likes to work on Kimbers, though he says that not many are brought to him. He told me that the QC of Kimbers is excellent. In his words, a stock Kimber is only "80% there" but every single gun is exactly the same 80%, vs. other manufacturers that may have an awesome "90% there" gun come off the assembly line, immediately followed by a gun off the same assembly line that is only "70% there" due to sloppy fit. With a Kimber, you always know exactly what you're going to get and can plan accordingly.

Your screen shots IMO show nothing unusual. The 127.0.0.1 ip is your local host services. The ip 192.168.1.64 should be the PC the screen shot is taken from. The number after the : are the port associated with the IP address. 139 is the windows file sharing and printer services. Your firewall closes this port by default. All the of other ports listed are dynamic local ports used for information transfer with the IP address listed in the second column. You can trace the other ip addresses by doing an ip search.

So IMO it was the sony's app configuration for Netflix. It just may have taken a while for them to serve up your service. Plus when you called they may have disabled your service while they did whatever.
An ip list will not tell you all the info you need to say it's a virus. Plus if he was remoted into your PC, really no reason too when the problem was the TV, some of the ip's and ports would be because of the remote access. Sounds like he was trying to sell you a service you did not need.
If you virus scanned you should be ok. The TV has nothing to do with your PC. It just uses your network. Since the TV acceses the Internet to use the other apps that worked, it leaves just the netflix app as the issue. If you have not noticed items popping up on your desktop, searches being redirected to other search engines or to pages you did not search on, I wouldn't worry too much. Never click on a pop up that wants you to install a flash update unless it is from the abode. That's how they plant the virus, using the same port as adobe update. You can go to adobe's site to verify your programs are up to date. Don't allow adobe to do updates automatically. You want the update program to inform you when an update is available so you can authorize the download and install.

It comes in a compact and a standard 5 inch model. The standard size is available in 9mm or 45acp. The compact is only available in 45acp. Check the Springfield Armory site for more details.

Range Officer. I shoot one in a couple of different competitions. Very reliable. I have 3000 rounds thru it. No issues no problems. It's priced right for the features you get. It's very accurate. And eats anything you feed it. I shoot a lot of Alanta Arms reloads when practicing, and use S&B when shooting competitions. Both 230 gr. I have shot HP from a few different manufactures with no issues.
If I'm lazy, it will go about 400 rounds before it needs to be cleaned. But I usually clean it after every outing.

I had my right knee replaced 19 months ago. The left was done in April of this year. The right needed to be done because of a tibia plateau fracture that required 3 months of external fixation. The result was a knee that bent to only 85 degrees. After the replacement I have 120 degrees of bend. Unfortunately 12 years of a bad right knee, really screwed up my left. I am amazed how fast my left knee went down hill after getting the right replaced.
My left knee is still in the process of rehab. I'm at 110 degrees of bend and getting better each day. Some days are better than others. My right knee required a modified incision because of previous surgeries. The incision was not over the knee cap. My left knee has a standard incision. The rehab was different for each, with the left being harder to make progress. Tomorrow is my 90 day post op appt.
I promised myself once I got my knees fixed, I was going to shoot 3 gun. Been shooting many years and have competed in some shooting sports, mostly trap and skeet. So I'm new around here. I have no expectations of being the fastest getting from place to place. But for me, just competing will be it's own reward.
To give you idea just how bad my right was, attached is a picture of my leg 1 day after my third surgery in 3 days after I broke my tibia plateau. If this picture is a goes against the Forum rules, moderators please feel free to remove it.
It's not for the squeamish. I had compartment syndrome. The large incision running down the calf is a fasciotomy. Without it I would have lost my leg below the knee.
For those considering a total or partial knee, do it. Having mine down has great improved my quality of life. I hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park a month ago. I couldn't do as much as I liked, but without the replacements, I would have been siting at the cabin.
African Americans in shooting competition?

Well... Hold on a second. I have a friend that is from Africa and is now a US citizen. He's from South Africa and is Caucasian. He is an African American. So, not all African Americans are black. And he does consider himself African American.
He served in the South African army and is big into shooting sports. Your "nonsense" is a generalization that you are using to classify anyone that may be an African American as black. Which is far from reality.
Besides, who cares? We are all Americans. And if we all are not, who cares. Let go out and shoot, have a great time, make some friends, and possibly introduce someone new to the sport. Be they purple with white polka dots, green, orange or sky blue.
