  1. I am sorry the bolt catch not mag release
  2. there is a small screw slightly above and behind the mag catch, check to see if it loose. mine came loose and locked my bolt open to where it wouldn't close.
  3. by gosh, that worked, thanks, Intenselmage
  4. anyone else having trouble with their 19 rounders from Armscor. I can only get 13 in. seems to be catching some place where the magazines are joined. I've used a towel and can push the follower all the way down, but loadings been a problem. I have a tooth and nail 19 and 14 rounder and they've both loaded and run with no problems.
  5. I got my 19 round Tooth and Nail mag in this week. I ran through it 4 times with zero issues. Fit and finish are excellent. ran Win AA 1250 fps 7.5. didn't do as well with my promag drum. wouldn't feed. I'm assuming it probably sits a little lower in the magwell and needs some trimming. I'll have to work on it. I have 4, 9 rounders from RIA, all work without issues. So far I'm very happy with it.
  6. There is a guy on Utube running a pro mag drum mag thru his vr80 (Morpheus), anyone tried this? doesn't say what kind it was, but it appears to run without a problem.
  7. for my EVO I am using those made by Fury holsters. took about 2 weeks to get them. mags will fit front or rear facing. They've worked great.
  8. fury holsters will make them. I ordered the ones that fit either direction. took about 3 weeks and I've been very happy with them .
  9. speed shooters Intl usually carries them and the arrendondo type. I started using the tecloadera late last year and really like them.
  10. yep a great time. Thanks to Brownells, Rockcastle folks, RO's, and sponsors. Special thanks to Gary Wellborn for the excellent stages, each offered several different ways to shoot. I am worn out, but already looking forward to next year. Thanks all, can only imagine the effort you folks have put in to make this match one of the best.
  11. I'm a St Louis guy and would should ICORE if it gets off the ground. Keep news and info posted.
  12. Sorry to hear that Aaron, you've been a big supporter of 3 gun matches here in the St Louis area, your support will be missed. Hope to see you back on the match trail soon.
  13. I had a great time. A well run match for sure. Thanks to all the staff, RO's, setup folks, etc for their hard work. I was worn out the next day but it was well worth it. didn't shoot as well as I would have like, but...........next year I'll be better prepared and oh yes, I'll be back.
  14. thanks Buckaroo, I'll revisit my disappointment. it is a nice grip if I can get it fiited right.
  15. I ordered some for my 625 JM and they didn't fit.
  16. This is always a great 3 gun match. I've been to all of them and won't miss this one. Good stages and the folks who put this on are just the best.
  17. dang macgyver, that's darn cool. good job.
  18. try cleaning out the gas ports in the barrel, it may have collect some gunk, they are great shotguns, no reason it shouldn't be running.
  19. This was yet another great match from our friends in Kentucky. Thanks to all who helped with this match. Stages were again mind boggling, the prize table was very well done, and RO's and support people are just the best. Gary Welborn does a great job with course design, allowing for confusion, contemplation and some out right cussing. Stage 8 where you had to turn your rifle sideways through a slot was the ultimate. Harder to do than it looked. I managed to shoot my targets and a few on the lane next to me, after just watching someone else in the squad before me doing the same thing.(Ha, it wasn't so funny when I did it) What I learned, 1. Throw levers on scopes are becoming more popular, saw a bunch of them. 2. AR Magazine extentions, or 40 round mags are becoming "must have" items. Some appeared so long they had difficulty fitting into and out of the safe barrels. Watch now, someone will come up with a rule on the size and dimesions that safe boxes/barrels must be to accomidate these extended mags. where does it end? 3. When you get tired you make dumb mistakes. On my last stage (2) you pulled your rifle from the closed box, load, rack, and stat shooting, so my gun doesn't fire, I eject a round, doesn't fire, eject another round, no go...."what the heck I say." Oh it would work better with the safety off. Old age and a tired mind catch up with you that's for sure. 4. You folks in Ind/Ky can't build a road worth a s@@t. You've been working on that streach of road from Evansville to Owensboro for 5 years now and you still can't get it right. Over here in Missouri we built a whole highway through the city in 14 months...!!!come on. Oh and a detour is suppose to be a short jag or two, a minor inconvince, not a freaking 25 mile trip through the farmlands of Southern Indiana for crying out loud, who came up with that!!! Great job all, thanks for just another great day 3 gunning.
  20. my sister has one, I didn't think I would ever get the oil filter off and out, for a few minutes I thought you had to take the engine out of the car or the front fender off.
  21. Thanks Gary and to all you folks at the Owensboro Club, this is a great one day match, I too have been to all of them, the stages are thoughtout and well done, the people are great, and they have the best food.
  22. always but safety first, don't try and hotdog and do something dumb.
  23. if I don't know them I ask them if they are Joe Smith the next shooter and look at the score keeper to confirm, then I give the commands and don't talk about anything else. That keeps someone from shooting and scoring on the wrong scoresheet.
