  1. I want to try this and the Taccom. I have tried all the captured systems. They work great but if there is something better out there, I'd be interested.
  2. I switched to Clean Shot and never looked back. Has about the same burn rate is TG but no where near as dirty. I run a heavier bullet with a faster powder vs lighter with a slower powder.
  3. The East Coast Championship is a great match but it's not the World Shoot. I guess you could say we have the "Nationals" but then again, it's not the World Shoot either. Especially for someone who wants to set a "World" record since the rules say it can only be done at a "World" shoot. Alternate. Send the National match out west when the World Shoot is on the east coast.
  4. The World Shoot needs to come to the east coast this year. Actually, it would be nice if they moved it around from time to time.
  5. I flip them upside down in their tray and brush them off with a mag brush.
  6. I had an issue with the same latch on my Leadstar. I removed enough material from the upper paddle and now it works great.
  7. You should give this a try guys: https://www.leadstararms.com/collections/muzzle-devices/products/muzzle-brake-ravage-9mm I moved over to it and have been amazed at how effective it is. We are working on some videos showing it now. For instance, I played around yesterday with some factory ammo shooting strong arm only non-supported and the gun barely moved. I am lucky as I work in the industry and get to play with new products all the time. The SJC Titan PCC and MBx are very effective as well.
  8. If you want to spend in that range, check out the LeadStar. I have shot several and it is by far my favorite. Light, balanced, LRBHO, built-in feed ramp and great looking. The comp that it ships with is extremely effective as well.
  9. Message me your order number from the original upper and I can get you an RMA going to switch the older barrel out for the new one.
  10. I don't understand the love for the MPX. I routinely see them lock completely down at matches. I shot one and they are not that much different than a properly tuned AR style PCC which has a lot more (affordable) options. Just my opinion....
  11. We do not require the warranty card. You will be fine. As PSA started selling 1000's of parts it became too cumbersome. Some guys still fill them out but basically if it has a PSA logo on it, we will warranty it. No questions asked. - Chad Wylie
  12. I started using Clean Shot by Shooters World about 3 months ago and love it. It burns very clean.
  13. I am testing one that is pretty solid. If it continues, I will let everyone know where to get one.
  14. This is ^^ his little sister. The dedicated rimfire....
  15. LeadStar 9 PCC Craddock Match barrel from Shilen blank UMTactical BCG ArmaSpec SRS-9 Hiperfire 24C Magpul w/ Fang C-more with MBX offset PWS Mod2 Enhanced Buffer Tube Timber Creek 45 degree safety and skeletonized grip
  16. I have one right now that has all but eliminated this issue. After a few more 1000 rounds, I will be ready to advertise it. Hold tight. It needs to be proven more first.
  17. Not sure if it has been mentioned or not but the LeadStar Arms PCC is one of the best out there. Integrated feed ramp, LRBHO, dedicated lower. All of that coupled with a light weight anodized platform either skeletonized or solid. The gun just runs....
  18. David Snyder has his stuff together! Great match, thank you cards, time cheat sheets, the largest match in the country... The list goes on and on... I just hate it takes so long for me to get up there.
  19. I will second the LeadStar. They are by far one of the best available to the market right now. It also depends on what you would like to spend. You can get a good running PSA Ar-9 and be successful with it as well. It truly is all about what you are willing to spend.
  20. I am a 147 guy. Tried 124's in PA (Steel Challenge) but will be moving back to 147's going forward. I have shot a few falling steel matches and the 147's do well out to the 35 or so yards we shot at. Anything fast and relatively close I like a heavier round with a faster powder. I would like to try some 135's but have not had the chance. Just my opinion. On the same note, just about anything going over 950 fps will do a good job if the steel is set right.
  21. Guys, if you have not tried Shooters World Clean Shot in your PCC you are missing out. I will try and take a picture of my comp after 3 matches using this powder. You do get some small goldish particles down in the lower but it is no where near as dirty as most of the other fast powders like TG. It burns really clean and is comparable to 231 as far as burn rate is concerned. It also meters like water.
  22. I use one on my PCC for Steel Challenge and love it. Takes a bit to get used too but for me it was a more natural point of aim.
  23. The 24C or ECL works really good in the PSA PCC's. I use a SD-3G in one and like it but am moving over to all 3 of them running Hiperfires.
