  1. If you have any questions, let me know. I've shot them for years and have great success with them. They are pretty heavily used in both Steel Challenge and USPSA with a proven track record.
  2. I take 6 mags on the line. 10 rounds per. Change between strings.
  3. Yes. That is the forged Gen1. You can tell by the hole where the roll pin used to go for the LRBHO. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. C-more 8MOA. You can't go wrong with the tried and true.
  5. Any of you guys running a 6" Volq upper on a M3 22/45 frame? I am wanting to get in to a little RFPI and am having some issues with my current setup. Is this the way to go? I'd like a Scorpion but I'm being cheap. I figure I could get by with the upper first and then maybe add the lower. Thoughts?
  6. I just like to pay, show up, shoot the gun I feel like and see where I end up. Rules are rules and I am good with them. Except for the flag and bag rule in PCC. I hate that. Zack, you are doing a GREAT job!
  7. Have you ever shot the ones the Ron Oliver used to make?
  8. 8MOA C-More is the way to go. Perfect blend between too much and too little in my opinion. I switched every Open gun I have to them last year.
  9. The fellows I shoot with are pretty brutal, lol. If it wasn't loud, I'm not sure how I would shoot. We've even debated playing "walk up" music before we get in the box....
  10. Yes, it will chamber (most of the time) and they will fire out of battery.
  11. I had a 3 gallon bucket of spent primers through a Craddock 9mm barrel (and some went through my STI OPEN gun) before I replaced it with a BSF. I did it solely for weight and it was still grouping great.
  12. As a note, any of the barrels marked "PCC Chamber" near the muzzle should not need to be reamed. If you are having trouble feeding shorter rounds it going to be related to the feed angle and the amount of gap between the mag and the chamber. We are going to have a lot more aggressive pricing coming up to make way for newer models.
  13. I have not. We are looking at potentially bringing them in so I should have one soon.
  14. I have a CMC 9MM modified trigger I have been testing for just over a month. It works great with the 5 or 6 bolts I have played with. The PSA Gen 1, 2 and 3 included. Most of these drop in trigger companies are modifying their AR10 triggers to be PCC compliant. I get the opportunity to play with a lot of different configurations and I wish I had time to write it up. I can say that through it all, the only one that has been 100% for me is the Hiperfire with every combination of products I've used.
  15. As soon as I get them, I will post and get some out to you guys. We are about 2 weeks out...
  16. I may soon have a resolution for the breaking of the firing pins. If I do, and its viable, I may hand out a few to the guys on here as a test to get your feedback if that's alright.
  17. This years Nationals. Totally choked. The match itself was great. Me, not so much.
  18. https://www.nanoptics.com/shop/?pa_color=red&pa_fiber-type=bsf
  19. Check out BSF barrels. We are about to start stocking them. I love mine.
  20. How about Shooters World Clean Shot. Runs like a champ in my PCC. Burns clean and is very accurate.
  21. Man, I hate PSA didn't get as many mentions. We had a pretty good showing at Steel Nationals. 3 of 6 available podium spots in PCC with a LeadStar occupying a 4th. Not too shabby for the "budget builds". Anywho, the firing pin issue is about to be resolved. We have studied that little problem a good bit and think (between a 3 company think tank) we may have a fix. More to come...
  22. Standard front sights with the back rear cut out into a U with a Hiviz post. I replaced the Hiviz sucky fiber with a Nanoptics .065 high glow fiber insert. It glows like a red dot. They have the best FO on the market.
  23. Didn't want to read through all the posts but in my humble opinion, yes. I like a gun around 6.5 pounds. I've had some pretty blazing times with a 7.5 pound PCC so I decided to drop some weight and see if I could pick up some speed. I got down to about 6.5 and had to adjust to it. I went from averaging 6's on stages like Smoke and Hope and Showdown and moved into the 8's because I was over swinging targets and it bounced more. I've adjusted my load and style to the 6.5 gun but I'm still not where I was with the heavier gun but I think it is in doable range but I'm not going lighter. Shoot what you have, get used to it and tweak in small increments. I pulled that pound out 2 weeks before Nationals and my times suffered from my stupidity.
