  1. In both of my Akai 9maj pistols I run 1.170 with RMR 124s. Seems I saw a YouTube video by Leonard DeLeon on how to determine the maximum cartridge overall length.
  2. I was at a match last year and I seen Eley Ammunition was selling 9maj and 38SC and they claimed guaranteed pf loads. They are worth a shot.
  3. I shot two Akai Custom Open Guns with Winchester and Federal small pistol. Although I had no issues, I was told by the gun builder that I should use Small rifle, so I switched to CCI SRPs without any issues.
  4. For my Open gun I’m running RMR 124s with 8.2gr HS-6 OAL 1.17 for 172pf. For my X5 and Staccato Im running Gallant 124s with 3.4gr N320 OAL 1.12 for 172pf in the X5 and 168pf in the Staccato.
  5. I have two different loads: 147s on 3.4gr N320 OAL 1.12 on a Staccato gives me 128pf and it’s crazy soft! 124s on 8.2gr HS6 OAL 1.17 for my 9maj Open Gun gives me 172pf. what platform are you developing for?
  6. I have an X5 as well and I use 147 Gallant bullets on 3.2 grains N320 with an OAL of 1.12 for 130pf. The same load on my Staccato made 124pf.
  7. You have to change the setting on the actual camera case. Just go through the prompts and you’ll find it. Took me about 10 seconds!
  8. I’ve had the CED 7000 and PP2… just recently I played with the AMG and holy cow, I need to save some pennies to get me that one!
  9. Ahh, the one place I haven’t looked. I shot a match today and did some video editing. I’m not sleepy, so let me see if I can figure that out right now.
  10. Although I’ve heard many great things about Holosun, I run a couple of 3Max optics. Over the last 2 years, one failed on me and Sig replaced it within about two weeks. Since then, zero issues.
  11. I bought the 64 and absolutely love it! I got rid of my GoPro to offset the cost. The only setting I’m trying to adjust is when I record the match, my rounds sound muffled.
  12. I recently purchased a newer pocket pro with the BT feature and it doesn’t have the issue you’re speaking of. I would suggest calling the manufacturer.
  13. I purchased a non-Bluetooth PP2 last year and the screen gave out recently. I friend gifted me a CED7000 right as I bought the Bluetooth version of the PP2 and just last month I got to see a Commander up close. Overall, I think the PP2 was more user-friendly than the CED7000 so I like the PP2. I think in the future I'll save up for a Commander cuz you can never have enough timers!
  14. I've been lost in the shooting world... After a lost package, it was finally delivered some 2 months later. Sig sent me a new one and so far no issues!
  15. I saw a speed drill from Travis Tomasie on youtube when he's already drawing the mag from his pouch as he begins to hit the mag release. at full speed, you'd think hes gonna hit the falling mag but he doesn't. So I broke down my reload drill session to try and do what he does. One of the things I immediately discovered is that my reload was largely based on my stage plan. Once I realized that, I tried Travis' technique at "my" turtle speed and I made a significant improvement. I believe the video was called Travis Tomasie- The Perfect Reload.
  16. I'm a young cat at 41 and I'm glad I stumbled onto this post. Just recently I started with tennis elbow and it definitely got out of hand with the pain. I'm gonna start implementing this ASAP! Thanks for the video!
  17. When I first purchased my Sig P365, I considered what kind of results I'd get on a USPSA course shooting Production since I already was running a Sig 320 X5. I did surprisingly well! My 365 now has a Streamlight TRL 7 Sub light, Holosun 507K dot and newer Phlster Enigma holster system and I couldn't be happier with the setup.
  18. In my 3 Max, sometimes I couldn't turn in on and then I couldn't turn it off. They claim the buttons may be bad. I sent it back 2 weeks ago and it should be back Thursday. We shall what they did.
  19. Double Alpha X Racer but I learned to order a spare block the hard way. I took a fall on a match while the pistol was unloaded and holstered. I broke the block and had to switch to a different platform to continue the match.
  20. I was very fortunate that my agency went to 9mm. Shooting Open 9MAJ and Carry Optics, I've been able to collect once fired, same lot number brass in a huge way. Every now and then I'll get a cracked case but for the most part I'm pretty happy with what I've got!
  21. I recently lucked out and bought a Staccato P DPO “used” for 1800. I’m no armorer but I swear this pistol had no wear marks! I like the fact that the optic footprint is already set for the DPP and the Romeo 1Pro. But I know Georgetown, Texas PD and the Texas Rangers carry the pistol for Duty use.
  22. I started with an RTS2 and switched over to the Romeo3 because of the big window. It’s my understanding from SHOT Show this past year that the RTS2 will be made with a bigger window in the very near future. Personally, I run the Romeo3 on all my optics pistols and it’s been great so far.
  23. I run the tungsten grips and added the tungsten grip plug aside from the tungsten guiderod. These 320s are flat as hell!!
  24. I started off with a limited gun built by Shay and it was a tack driver. I bought an open hybrid 9Maj pistol used off one of the team members. They needed some work so I sent it back to Akai and they serviced it. When it came back, it ran very well. This past year I purchased another used 9Maj pistol that ended up going back on two different occasions for repair work. It was my primary pistol. My back up has been flawless. Now that the primary pistol is back, it’s going to the range tomorrow so I can test it out. Customer service is a little tough at times and communication lacks on occasion but overall, I’m happy with the finished product.
