  1. N320. I liked it so much that I got 28lbs[emoji7]. (ok that and I got it right before the election, when two other places suddenly ran dry while I was load testing so it was a bit of a panic buy [emoji15]) Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. Damn.. that's the exact same bullet I use. I really hope they didn't change them!![emoji27]
  3. I expect you to Chrono your results and report back here. Otherwise I'll lose some respect for you and your asking for this...
  4. HP-38 for me was all over the place for .40 major. Good enough for 9mm minor. But still dirty. On the other hand this was my N320 results. I was sold after I saw the results.
  5. I use the HL Impact for outdoors. HL Pro for indoors. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. Wolf? Does this only entail the Russian made stuff? As I see the .223 Wolf gold made from Taiwan for sale ( which is actually quite decent for 55gr FMJ) Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a match grade LLM[emoji23] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  8. The Lee seater is chincy. The top adjustment bolt is actually made out of aluminum.[emoji19] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. That seems awfully expensive just for load development. If you don't plan on regularly using the 1500 for regular reloading, it's probably overkill. Other option could be a scale the Lee dipper kit, and a powder trickier. Assuming you already have a scale the other two should be under $40 for even a Redding trickier. Dippers are usually around $11... Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. Also if u need to buy once fired brass, buy the blanks. They are MUCH cheaper[emoji4] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. HS-6 for sure is too slow for minor. you'll end up getting more perceived recoil since you have to generally use more powder by weight than a faster burning powder. it'll also be dirtier as I believe the majority of powders tend to burn dirty at lower pressures. Compared to .40 major, HP-38 is much dirtier in 9mm minor, so I can only imagine HS-6 would be pretty filthy. I haven't really tested this myself, but I've heard N320 is not very temp sensitive since it's single base (which is rare for most pistol powders). The downside is the price. It's about 50% more over HP-38[emoji24] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. Isn't it a bit on the slow side for 9mm minor? Sent from my m8wl using Tapatalk
  13. I loaded up to 5.0 @ 1.13 gave me 171 average in a Glock 35. 180gr PD JHP... Sent from my m8wl using Tapatalk
  14. Hornady claims the micro seater is for rifle calibers only, like they later claimed the cam lock bullet puller is also rifle only, on their website pages. [emoji19]. I have the Redding seating die. It's great. You can find the die on sale right now, not much more than the Hornady And along with a hard to read micro stem that's "for rifle calibers only"... 15. New N320? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  16. It's not so much a problem that the bullet pulls out with force. Rather that it gets pushed into the case (setback). That lowers OAL which increases pressure. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  17. [emoji23] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  18. ...you're trying to load to a specific PF...but you don't have a chrono?[emoji32] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. Can't say. I don't use that powder or that heavy of a bullet. Perhaps someone else can chime in. Otherwise load up a few at various charge weights beginning with starting charge and work up using a chrono. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. Your case won't fully eject as the slide won't have enough energy to either fully cycle or cycle too slowly and will catch the case as it's ejecting and jam. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. Oops stove pipe[emoji44] Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  22. Squib. But charge would have to be super low. More likely your slide wouldn't cycle and the case would stove top and jam. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  23. Looks like 4.9 gr gave me the results I wanted on the Chrono. VERY consistent velocities.[emoji7] Sent from my m8wl using Tapatalk
