  1. little short on cash, so hav'nt added the base pads yet, but I bought mine in march and have ran about 300 rds thur of various makers and it eats everything I've put thur it, a mightly fine pistol, But what else would you expect form a S.A.

  2. send it to dillon and ask for a refurbish on it.

    +1

If you got a great deal on it...spend another $40 ish.. and get a "factory new" press back.. no issues.

two thumbs up for this one, mine come back looking as good as new, since you have to wait a month for grandpa, send it in, it will be back way before the bench is

  3. yea, growing up in the 60's, rock&roll, too many nights with head under the hood of a car, always love to shoot rifles, shotguns and pistols, yea those stupid years will catch up with ya, oh and years in the field as a corpman with the mardiv, and aircraft carriers did'nt help any either, the miltary doctors are just now starting to wonder if there is any fix for it, I also draw a small disablity check once a month, backround music don't help mine, the buzz is always there, sometimes loud sometimes not and getting older don't help either, this sucks :angry2:

  4. My hi-cap springfield 1911, holds 17 with dawson basepads, it always seemed to be enough, but then again, I'm not a "top Notch" shooter who's out to win at all cost, I just enjoy shooting, If a 45 is what you have shoot it and have fun

  5. the carbine 9mm or 40 is a mighty fine little carbine, the pistols well I guess you could always throw them at some body, I had one of the 40's for about a week and traded it in, it just would'nt run, I bought it on a whim, OH look a cheap pistol and THAT is what it is <_<

  6. I have collected firearms for some years now, from the sks that were $40 then to the ak-47's that were $200 then, neither are that now, during the clinton years gun sales when crazy for a while high-cap magazines shot up to new highs but did'nt come back down much when the ban went away. A lot depends on the dealer, the one's I have gone thur for the past 10yrs have always rised the price $100 over what it cost them a fair profit, I've gone to several other dealerships in the past month and their price have skyrocked, the dealers are the one's making out on this. The situation has people who now NOTHING about guns whating one, they don't even now which end the bullet comes out. I know people who are out of work and will use what money the have to buy guns, This is crazy  ,. if you buy a firearm you need to be trained now to use it, most people today are not brought up the way I was or the way my son way, my father way a WW2 and korean vet, I spent 10 yrs with the marines going everywhere we shoul'nt have been, my father trained me and I trained my son, he's now a major in the army, You need to know how to handle your weapon, it's your right to own one make it your resposibleity to know how to use it! I really think the prices are starting to level back out at least they seem to be.
