dumb question i have a trubor 38super that i want to convert to 9mm over winter. i was looking at buying this comp . question is what barrel do you need? idk i guess you would either get a threaded 5.4in barrel or a 6 in bushing barrel and the gun smith turn it down and thread it? excused the dumb question . thank you

does anyone have any experience with either of the guns listed above? the cz redhead premier or the cabela elusive cz teal ? cabela has the teal onsale which they say is the exact same build as the red head but black receiver . just want to see the quality is and if it will last since its onsale for and i can get it for about $540 otd brand new otd

What comp are you guys running with the pencil barrels. I'm seeing nothing for a .625 . Are you putting a larger one on and leaving it or taking it to a machines and turning it down on a lathe

does the rcbs or hornady give a uniformed depth and same radius cut on the crimp and primer pocket or is it more of a touch and go sort of thing?

just currious if you dont mind what kind of money does it take to convert one of these mills into cnc? thanks

Bayou 147 gr n320 3.3gr 1.14oal enough crimp to remove flare. Out of a g34 I've shoot 2 inch group at 25 yards . Believe it comes in at 130pf

if you order on like do your self a favor and order more then 2lbs. the $40 in shipping is going double the cost of the powder. for that your better of paying the $25-$35 a pound when the local shop has it instock . check mid south shooter supply and grafs both allow backorders . seems like powder comes in waves if you dont get it when instock it might be a few month before the next run on the type... at least that what it seems to me from what i have seen.

i dont have anything to compare it to but it is a nice trigger. the pad and saftey feels very nice on your finger and to me it feels like it has a strong reset.

im with you i have one that has maybe 500rd threw it and i wouldn't sell it for $100.

thats a personal call. if your a tinker get a adjustable since you most likely be changing bullet powder and all that non stop if your a set it and forget it i would just get non adjustable .

I have the Arredondo extensions and they seem to work well . Easy to remove as well

Mine with factor barrel really likes 147 bayou bullets. Trying to find a load with 124 or 135 that it likes .

I use Dillion case lube. No reason not to it easily cut the force in half to resize brass. I tumble in corn cob after its loaded to remove the lube .

thanks that is good to hear about the lms able to do anything 1911/2011 and ar lowers . have you tried to sell it ? just currious if it hold value well. it would be nice to get my feet wet with a quality machine able to do what i want with a lower cost.

what would be a better machine to play around with slide and ar lowers and 2011 frames? the little machine shop mini mill or g0704 ? would like to get one up and runing for less then $1500 but want something that im not going to regret buying if i find out that i enjoy machine work.
