    New Glock 34

Okay so a little update. Installed the Jager steel rod and 13# spring this weekend and ordered a set of TTI sights for my match this Sunday. I'll report back to let everyone know how it goes.

    New Glock 34

I'm loving my DK trigger. I'll keep the 4.5# spring in it until I can start reloading my own with Federal primers. Also on a good note, my Jager steel guide rod and 13 lb spring shipped today. Can't wait to throw those in.
  3. Another vote for the Aegis Echos. Received mine last week. Super light, fit under my ear pro, and don't fog up.

    New Glock 34

Well shot my first USPSA match this morning. No light strikes with the 4.5# spring shooting 124gr Freedom Munitions FMJs. Trigger worked like a dream. Stock sights have to go though.
  5. Does TTI or another company make these for the 12 round mags? And no I don't want to use an XGrip adapter.

I was definitely planning on it! TTI doesn't make a 0.190" tall front sight or else I would.

Ok so using Dawson's measurement for the front site, I came up with a 0.190" new front site. (7.5" sight radius x 3" high)/ 900" = 0.025" 0.025"+0.165" stock G34 sights=0.190" I haven't seen many others on here use this height before and just wanted to make sure that I was doing the math correctly.
  8. 36" waist here and ordered a 40 belt. It fits perfectly. I followed the chart on DAA's site and everything fits perfectly.
  9. Yet another recommendation for the Comptac International. I just got mine for my Glock 34 along with a DAA belt and its perfect. Just debating the DOH piece. I need to try it without and see if I like it any better. However, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one for any of my other guns.
  10. I just ordered a pair of Inov8 Roclite 295s since the Speedcross 3s were way too narrow for my feet. I should get them tomorrow. I'll report back how they fit, but all the reviews I read for them were positive.

    New Glock 34

Glad to hear that everything is going well with the 4# springs. I haven't been able to get out to the range this week, but will try Friday or Saturday. In terms of sights, what front sight does everyone pick? I've read .205" all the way to .300" tall. I've tried to zero at 25 yards, but couldn't get a definitive answer. Majority were going high by about 2-3".

I agree with both of you. This will be a strictly competition gun only. I'm confident the 4.5# spring will smooth things out.

    New Glock 34

I recently purchased a Gen4 G34 last week to start into USPSA Production. So far I have purchased: Jager Captured Steel Guiderod (Backordered) ISMI 13lb Recoil Spring (Backordered) DK Custom Trigger I installed the trigger last night with the 4lb striker spring because thats the way it came from DK. Went to the range this afternoon to test everything out. I was getting about 1 in 10 light strikes. Now it's my understanding that the striker is a modified OEM one and not extended. I came home and just installed the 4.5lb spring. Is anyone else having the same issue? Other than that I am loving it. Hardly any pretravel, reset is nice and pronounced. Now I just need to decide on what sights to upgrade to because the plastic ones just need to go. I'll report back next week when I get to test with the 4.5lb striker spring.
  14. I think you can even stipple now...according to the new rule book. You are correct. As long as it stays within certain confines. Can't wait to get my Gen4 G34. It'll be setup pretty much the same as yours, but with a DK trigger.
  15. Actually I was mistaken. Steel challenge is on the 17th and USPSA is the 25th. Never been out to Benchrest but I'd love to make it out. Do you go to any local ranges?
