Can anyone confirm that an AET barrel is not fully supported? I am not very keen on the AET design, but I have heard that they are prone to case separations (when pushing pressure limits) as result of removing additional material.
You don't like more accurate barrels? I don't think Infinity would use this design if it were not the best barrel.
It is a fully supported chamber. Take a look at the pdf.

Can you share you load data? What are you shooting that works well, and what I should stay away from.
There are still a few, and very few around. Its a great STI and in MHO the best STI has brought out of the oven,''Here is mine.SC is no longer selling STI, just what he has in inventory.
The issue with the Aperio was the availability of the barrels.
Thanks!
I liked mine so much I just bought another for a backup.
I use 185 precision bullets with 4.5WST at 1.185 oal and am around 172pf.

If I had my way I would have the DVC with an Aperio barrel and a tactical rail for a light.... if only I knew how to make that happen......
No need for the tactical rail on mine. PM inbound

I have at least 18-20k rounds through mine and haven't had any issues shooting .40 major with WST. I recently have started using claydot with no issues so far. During chronoing different loads the aet barrel is 10-20 fps faster than standard 5" sti barrels in mutiple pistols with many less round count.
