  1. I got both and the czc was a lot better. Make sure you tell them that you want the competition trigger job. It's $100 more but well worth the money. Call and talk to Stuart, he's awesome
  2. The MBF is awesome and is a great upgrade. All my problems were caused by the bullets that I use, ( 135gr round nose ). Rick fixed the issue by modifying the dropper and sent it out. The original works great with everything else, 147,124,115.etc... I know at least 6 other people who have the MBF and say they have never had a problem. I wouldn't hesitate at all to get it again.
  3. I am telling you from first hand experience, buy straight from Rick. I recently bought one and have had a lot of issues and when I emailed DAA the response was simply "it must be your press, good luck". What a freaking joke. I couldn't believe it. I contacted Rick and he has made it a priority to figure out the problem. Called me and emailed me several times with ?'s and things he wanted me to try. Sent out a new dropper assembly and powder die. The guy is freaking awesome and I didn't even buy it from him, but I wish I did. Rick came to the conclusion that the problem was probably from my 135gr bullets which are a little long. He modified a dropper and it has been working good. Get it from him, you won't regret it but you might if you get a response like I did from DAA.
  4. Why did you like the 165's better? Accuracy, softer recoil, etc?
  5. Doesn't the 160 gr bullet make the slide feel sluggish? I can tell a difference between the 135 and 147's. Maybe it's just me but I think it would make the slide feel slow.
  6. I currently run and have been happy with 135 bayou bullet 3.4gr titegroup 1.110 OAL 135 PF
  7. Like it says. What's your favorite load for the cz75 sp-01 shadow? Bullet manufacturer and weight, OAL, powder type and weight?
  8. How much does the crimp effect power factor? I recently loosened my crimp very slightly and found that my PF went down from 134 to 131. I can't think of anything else that changed. 135gr bayou bullet 3.4gr titegroup 1.110 OAL
  9. man this match was a boat load of fun. lets see some of those golf cart videos
  10. I keep my 11 rounder in the front mag pouch and a extra 10 rounder in my front pocket. At the LAMR I draw, dry fire a couple shots and load the mag like I would in a live mag change, go hot, holster the gun and the take the 10 rounder in my front pocket and put it in my front mag pouch
  11. Awesome job to the overall winners. Do the winners of each class get plaques as well? never mind i just didn't read the whole post. Just looked at the names that you had down.
  12. I agree with everyone else. Was a great match and the staff was great as well. Thanks to all who had a hand in making this happen. Can't wait for the next zip line stage. Maybe a zip line plate rack. ??
  13. 135 bayou bullet 3.4 gr of tite group 1.110 OAL Mixed brass 135PF out of a cz 75 sp-01 shadow Very accurate and feels great
  14. I shot that stage pretty good a liked it. It was definitely the most watched stage. We had a crowd watching us shoot it on Friday. The match was great tho and the staff we shot with where awesome. I will for sure be back next year. Thanks to all the great guys and girls who helped put it on and props to the new match director. Great match
  15. That is a awesome set up. The boss holster is probable the best out there, same for the DAA belt. The ghost mag pouches are good and you can use them bullets forward or bullets out. If your shadow is a 9mm you will be better sticking with production in USPSA and you can shoot it in SSP and esp in IDPA but you can't use the boss holster or the belt. Kinda sucks but it is what it is. Only thing you might want to consider is using the DAA racer mag pouches instead of the ghost but they are more expensive and not as easy to change to bullets out. Good luck
  16. should be fine. make sure you replace the springs about every 8k rds
  17. I have there double mag pouches for my m&p pro and they are pretty good for IDPA plus you cut them and make them singles if you want to down the road. I use to be a comptac only kind of guy but I won some bladetech pouches and I do like them better. If you don't pull the mags straight out of the comptacs you can actually end up pulling the whole pouch out with it causing a what the crap moment in the middle of a stage. Bladetech is better in my opinion
  18. VV n320 is awesome but very expensive and hard to find. What is out there that is comparable to it?
  19. I'm the OP and I use 13# recoil spring at 135pf
  20. Just curious to see how much diffrence it would make
