  1. How do you like it? Smoke, accuracy, felt recoil like? What would you compare it to? Thanks for sharing.
  2. Anyone have any new data and updates on this powder and mind sharing your load data. Thanks
  3. If they were approved by uspsa then there would be a email chain that they could send him with the stages on it. ?
  4. Does anyone have any experience with taking a checkmate and drilling people holes in the barrel like the Akia guns?
  5. Sounds like a heavily water down nationals to me. 18 stages and 6 of them are classifiers. That does not sound like fun nor does it sound like a real national event. Also doesn't it give the guys who shot it already once or maybe twice depending on what and how many divisions you shoot a advantage over the guys that have not shot it?
  6. They said the stages would be released on the 31st. Don't know why so late but it is what it is. Would be nice to know what I'm driving 10hrs for.
  7. 4.8? Man that seems like a lot. I haven't used any yet so... I've been using ramshot competition at 4.3 grains and it shoots pretty soft
  8. I asked about the stages and match book on the Facebook and was told it would be out in a week or so
  9. I'm leaning towards just getting a s1050 for now and I might just get the ammobot. I have two friends that have auto presses. One has the 650 and mark7 and another has a s1050 and the ammobot. The s1050 and ammobot combo is much faster and seems to have less issues.
  10. Can't decide what to do. Get a new s1050 set up for one caliber or go ahead and get a mark7 for my current fully loaded 650? I only load .40 and 9mm and I don't change them very often. If I get the mark7 I already have everything else on the 650 but I hear that a S1050 is much smoother and more reliable especially once you go automated. I would have to wait another year to automate the s1050 but I could set it up for .40 and run 9 on the 650. Anyone with experience with both presses have some suggestions? Thanks
  11. I got some cleanshot that I would like to try in .40 and am just curious what you guys think of this powder. I hear great things about it in 9 minor and I'm hoping it will work good for .40 major as well. Thanks
  12. I wish I knew where this $2000 CM is. My decision would be made.
  13. I would like to get into open on the cheap and already have a cz production and limited gun so I might as well stay with cz. Question is do I buy a checkmate or build one on a TS 9mm.
  14. Has anyone tried the shooting sports innovation scale 2.0 grips for the TSO?
  15. Dawson makes good stuff and it's nice to have another option out there, I just don't like the shallow notch. My current one is .100 deep and I think it's to shallow so .80 would be even worse. Dawson gives you the option to pay $10 and have whatever notch size you want. Is this a option with these new sights?
  16. My squad at area 8 had 2 guys with some beautiful and expensive custom limited guns and I couldn't figure out why the heck they kept dropping mags on the stage. NewYork
  17. Yep.... this was my first big major shooting limited and that's exactly what I said. Going back to production! Not really, limited is too much fun.
  18. Unfortunately for me 3 of the 4 would not pass and even after having the guys at Atlas gun works file on the feed lips to the point that he stopped because he was worried about feeding issues, it still wouldn't pass the gauge. The 3 that failed are longer (basepad) and the slot is wider causing the COAL to be longer. To me there is a obvious problem. Companies like this have feed people crap for so long that you think it's normal. Regardless I appreciate the feedback even if I don't agree with some of it. Thanks.
  19. So a company make and sales a product that does not work for it's intended use and you think that's ok? It's pretty simple to measure mags, take the longest length and make the base pad off of this. I can almost get 22 in my mags, unfortunately they don't fit the gauge like they should. So there is plenty of room to still have 21 and make them fit the gauge. So by your way of thinking it's ok to spend $100 on a mag set up from a company and have to do butcher the brand new stuff you just bought. How about the said company actually make a product that works!
  20. In my case the base pads were out of spec. CZC is going to reprogram the cnc for next go around but that doesn't help anyone that has the longer pads right now. The pads I have that didn't pass a longer and have a lot more play in them than the 1 that did pass. For as much money as I spend on them you would think they would get it right or give me my money back, but nope. I just have $300 in practice mags now.
  21. Talked to a company yesterday and hopefully in the very near future we will have a much better option for tool less base pads for the CZ TS. Not sure on a time frame just yet but it's in the works.
  22. I just started shooting limited a couple months ago and this was the 2nd major. I am ordering a mag gauge from EGW and will be checking myself from now on. I got lucky and checked my mags at area 8 before I shot and had a buddy lend me his mags which passed for the next day of shooting. Do you use the CZC base pad?
  23. Make sure when you check to lay the gauge on a table, bench or whatever and just lay the mag in the gauge. You're not supposed to manipulate it in anyway and if it doesn't touch flat on both pads then it fails.
