At $419 on those, a bit too close to a whole gun price.  Really thinking Apex will be a better product for the money or close...that would appeal to me.  I don't like how loose the factory slides are on the frame inserts much less the possibility of barrel related accuracy problems.

Im with you in this boat.

  2. For 3 gun you are going to want a break or comp. With that said the Carbon Arms Gas Hog is a great place to start. Another favored is the Seekins precision ATC. Try to get your hands on a couple before you pull out your wallet. This topic get covered a lot, and "search" will find more info then you can handle. Good luck!

  3. When I started, I got 2 Carbon Arms 10 round SSL Pinwheels. They have gotten me through 80% of matches I have gone to, and the great part about our sport is I just asked to guy next to me if I can brow another caddy from his bag to complete the stage. Since then I have purchased another 10 round, 6 round, and a 4 round SSL pinwheels. Carbon Arms makes some great stuff, I don't know if you have selected your carriers yet but give them a look and they will not disappoint you.

  4. No matches this weekend, they all got rained out. I plan on spending the weekend dry firing my pistol and learning how to load my shotgun.

As for shell holders what works best i see two different designs. I would think the load 2 would be the way to go. Any thoughts on that?

Carbon arms all the way!!! You will not regret it.

  5. Mark at carbon arms is a great guy. He will not steer you wrong. I got my upper from him, it like a pice of art. With a jp bcg you will be good 2 go. And it's good to support someone that dose so much for our sport. He will tell you that you will not need an adjustable gas block. And he is correct my dose not and will not have an adjustable gas block. The gun just runs like a bat out of hell! Hope this helps
