I would definitely table this decision until you have a couple of matches under your belt. The other shooters in your area may affect your decision as well (go where the good shooters are). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
The sight block is the chunk of metal at the end of the barrel. It moves weight from the slide to the barrel and keeps the front sight from moving with the slide. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
OP is right. VC is silly and pointless. Extra shots inherently incur a time penalty, no need for more rules (that often get screwed up). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Empty cases hang up at the web, I can see the rim and grove above the gauge. Curiously, if inserted backwards they drop all the way in. This doesn't make much sense to me. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
I have started push through sizing my 40 brass in an attempt to reduce my case gauge failure rate. Unfortunately it hasn't helped much. I don't understand how a case can fail case gauge if it has been push through sized. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
I am interested in taking one of the many 1911 build classes out there and was wondering if anyone had any experience/guidance? Would like to hear about total cost and quality of instruction of the various options. Thanks, Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk
