Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hi, this is Russell with Practiscore. The easiest way to get a hold of us is support@practiscore.com. We are always happy to help. Someone at USPSA alerted me to this question here. If the score is not showing in the posted results, it could be that the scores were not synced from the stage device after your score was entered. It could also be that the stage was deleted from the match, but you have confirmed that is not the case. There is a possibility of an issue with the actual scoring where the score was left incomplete or got reset after you saw it entered. For some of these issues the MD could remedy them quickly and you just need to reach out to him. If there was an issue that we can find in the scoring you will need to provide the match name as well as your name and the stage in question. You should probably reach out to the MD in either case. If you would email support@practiscore.com with a link to the match results as well as the stage and your name, I will take a look and determine if there is anything I can do. Russell
  2. Please email support@practiscore.com and we'll figure out what is going on.
  3. JD, The feedback is appreciated. The web team is on the case and knocking issues out one as quickly as possible. they are currently working on the registration entry and download issues. Thanks for your patience.
  4. Thanks Russell....I sure wish I could recover my squads scores. I had a really good match and classifier... Trying to think if there is any way the scores could still be "out there" somewhere. Before this issue occurred was any data ever moved out of the app? Did anyone on your range sync the scores to their personal device? Can you connect the devices to a computer and explore the storage to see if any files exist that might still contain the data? Did you ever post the scores to our site before this happened? Losing scores is our worst case scenario. We run large matches. We feel your pain as well as feel responsible for its remedy. There are a few good practices we follow. Frequently send the match export to yourself. Have a device of the other platform iOS/Android available for workarounds like generating reports.
  5. This is our top priority. We are working the problem and close to a solution. Amazon devices run a somewhat different version of android than most other devices, and the issue appears to be isolated to them. We will have a solution and release it ASAP. Russell
  6. You don't want to use the 3 Gun Pro match types. Those are setups specifically for the Pro series use. 3 Gun Nation uses time plus in their regional and club matches. Time plus and time plus with points record the same data, but may produce different results due to the fact that the points matches have a balancing effect on scores. They reduce how badly you can do on any given stage. The answer to that issue with time plus that 3GN offered in their new club and regional rules is a maximum stage time of 250 seconds. This includes the composite total of penalties and raw time. Practiscore's next release will implement this rule, but it is in the books for 3GN now. Practiscore is supposed to refuse to sync match types that are unknown to it, but there are older versions out there that lack that functionality. TP and TPP match types will sync across all platforms of Practiscore. Best practice is to test your setup ahead of time. Do frequent backups (Send yourself the PSC files). Ask as many questions as needed: support@practiscore.com . We are happy to help. If you have the match files still on your master device and on the stage devices, we can likely recover and consolidate the data for you. Please contact us at support@practiscore.com and we will see what we can do to recover your match data. Russell
  7. We worked with several IDPA MDs running large matches to get the iOS version we have. I am surprised we missed it. I will remedy this. The Android version puts the IDPA ID in the reports. If you have, or can borrow, an Android device you can use it to post for now. Russell You can always email us directly at: support@practiscore.com Our whole team will receive the email, and we generally see it much faster. Thanks
  8. I misunderstood the issue. I have made a fix so the classifier codes should sync between platforms. I will send a test build out today. This will be in the next release.
  9. In iOS when you enter the 3 digit classifier code PS will automatically add the "SC-" in the file.
  10. The fix is in for iOS 5 devices. Apologies. And Thanks Bill.
  11. I am working on this now. I will submit an update to correct this ASAP. Submitted the fix. Apple's turn around time has been quite fast lately. Thanks for the heads up.
  12. I am working on this now. I will submit an update to correct this ASAP.
  13. This is a request for information. My name is Russell. I am a developer on practiscore. I want to reach out to all of the IDPA shooters, especially the match directors and ROs. I have shot USPSA, Multigun and Steel Challenge. I haven't shot IDPA. I have access to the rules and classifier definitions. I really want direct info from guys who have to use our report at the end of a match. I get a lot of feedback on our reports and looking at the Florida State open combined match results report I can see exactly why it is so hard to read. There is too much data which forces the fonts to be too small. Now I know that everyone wants to see every single data point they can, and I can still produce that report, but what I want to know is: -What exactly do you need at the end of a match to hand out your awards? -How should the shooters be grouped (Division/Class)? -By what determining factor should they be ordered? -Exactly which columns are REQUIRED? (No more/ No less) I don't want a wish list. I want this report to be "THE" one you use at the end of the match that has all you need to hand out the trophies. Thanks in advance for your input.
