Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Here is some information on the schedule that i just got. I think the start at the main match is going to be 8:30 in the morning. The practice ranges for the 2015 World Speed Shooting Championship, The Steel Challenge, will be open beginning on Friday, November 6, from 0730 until 1600 each day. The practice ranges will be closed on Tuesday the 10th, due to CalPoly and California F&G work on the ranges, but we will open the main bays for practice on that day. Practice ranges will remain open during the match, and will close with the finish of the match. -Eric
  2. Hogue has 2 sizes of their 3 gun bag. A 46" long and a 52" long bag. These are internal length dimensions.
  3. The Hogue Rubber Big Butts with no finger grooves are an excellent choice. Hogue can also make a wood grip specifically for her hand.
  4. I am glad i made it this year. The stages were fun and the prize table was good. Just wished i could have made the feed on Friday night. Thanks to all the match staff that helped set up and run the match. -Eric
  5. Hello all The next 3-gun match at the Hogue Action Pistol range, www.slosa.org, will be held on March 14th. I will post a round count when I have one. We welcome you to come. -Eric
  6. Hi everybody Just wanted to give a heads up about the weather for the IRC. There is a chance of rain in the forcast for Friday. Other than that the weather will be pretty normal for this area, upper 60's lower 70's with some fog. Just wanted to let all of you know about the chance of rain. -Eric
  7. i will blame it on my gunsmith and hearthco. -Eric
  8. I'll be there. Oh by the way Peaches, Nelson's dog, likes hot dogs and Nelson hates it when we give her some. -Eric
  9. looks like mid 60's and cloudy. But with the weather in this area it could change in the middle of the week. -Eric
  10. out here on the coast you really don't need AC. you just open a window on the west side and the east side and get a breeze off the ocean blowing through. If you stay in Morro Bay the range is about 5-10 minutes away. If you stay in San Luis Obispo the range is anywhere from 5-15 minutes away. Both cities are tourist oriented with Morro Bay being more tourist oriented. Staying in Atascadero will add about 15 to 20 minutes on the drive to the range. -Eric
  11. There will be Apex firing Pins at the IRC. -Eric Also his web page is down right now, so any emails through the web page he will not get.
  12. Federal should work also. Starline will also work but be a little loose. Hearthco can also custom make moonclips to fit the brass of your choice also. -Eric
  13. I will be going. Plan on staying in the little town of Los Osos, just up the road from Randy's shop. There are plenty of places to go. In SLO there are the local college bars. In Morro Bay there is the tourist shopping, the rock, and the beach. In Los Osos there is montana de oro. In cayucos there is a beach and a pier. Further up the coast there is Hearst Castle and some seals somewhere. Oh yeah, if the coast is clear there are some spectacular views up highway 1. If you stay in Slo it can be 5 to 20 minutes away from the range. Morro Bay is 5 to 15 minutes away. Los Osos is about 10 to 15 minutes away. If you stay over the hill in North County, Atascadero and Paso, it is 30 minutes and up. There is also Pismo beach and the other cities that way, about the same time as north county. Hope to see you all here at the Hogue Action Pistol -Eric -i live 10 minutes away from the range
  14. ffl, you wouldn't be talking about tus amigos would you? because they are open in the evenings and if i can get enough confirmed maybe can tlk them into staying a little longer if need be. Only problem is that it is SMALL!! but it also is good food. -Eric
