Nice to see that the club was able to keep IPSC/USPSA matches going. Great club for those of us who live downriver.

I have the same problem, but it should affect your long gun shooting not your pistol.

The only problem you may have is they require a harder strike. If you have a weak firing pin spring they may misfire.

the calender on the website is for 2008. can you list the monthly championships on BE. that way i know which setup to bring. Ed

I like the equal chance of winning the big prize. Like you said the top guys have their guns. Give us scrubs a chance to get a sweet gun just for shooting the match.

So there is no livingston action shooters this year?

Anybody know which clubs are shooting on which weekends in SE Michigan. I got the email about CCRC shooting the 1st weekend for April and May, but not sure about the rest. Thanks for the help.

If you are going to shoot limited or L10 I like the CR speed, it will work for those models. If you are going for production you need something like a blade-tech or uncle mikes.

I use TG and have shot 1,000's of them at major, but I use 180gr bullets. I have used a G22 and G35. No problems yet.

I would add a magwell (I use the glock works), tungston guiderod, titanium plunger, titatnium striker, wolf reduced power striker spring, dawson mag pads and polish the trigger and striker. That will give you 21 rounds to start and a reliable gun. I also use a CR speed holster. Ed

The ammo has worked before. What would the magazine lips have to do with it. The 1st round fires and ejects, the 2nd round goes into the battery, fires and only comes out part way. I've changed the extractor and tried different magazines and it still happens. I've given it a quick cleaning. I'll take it apart and do a better one. I've also bought a new recoil spring and will try that. Please keep any ideas coming.

I have a para 38 super open gun. It has started to not eject the second round fired. it will pull the empty shell approx. 1/4 the way out and stop. I then have to pry the shell out. the gun is used and i have replaced the extractor. any ideas and thanks for any input. Ed

I'm in squad 6, shooting on saturday all day. L10/c class. Anybody else there at that time?

My first big match was the 1998 Michigan State Match. I was shooting a Para P14-45. On the second stage I broke the mag catch. I was able to buy one from a vendor and moved on. I then shot 2 stages with a bad extractor. Managed to borrow and kept going thanks to a buddy. Plus I found out that I moved up to C class the day before the match began.

I know most matches don't allow quads. You could give penalties for bad driving. Kind of wierd to be trusted with a loaded gun, but not a quad. It's the person, not what they drive. I get more people speeding in Taurus' and mini-vans than Corvettes and Mustangs. Just feel left out not having a golfcart. Ed

Whats up with no 4-wheelers. I have one of those, but no golf cart.
