  1. I have been using VV3n37 for the last few years. 8.2 gr makes about 174ish PF in a Trubor Zero 125 JHP @ 1.170 OAL- this length works very well in SV and STI mags (no spacer)
  2. My TurBor came with the s1 comp. I had the same question you did until i shot it with the major load. It works just as well as most other comps. The huge holes in the s1 vent more then enough gas to have a "soft, flat" shooting pistol. Don't worry about the s1, it will do ya right.
  3. I used the 8.2gr load pushing Zero 124's at A2 a few years ago. I think it chronoed at a 173PF. This stuff is really loud and the blast is quite impressive. I changed to 3N37 because i shoot at night a lot and the flash was just too distracting. No pressure signs all the way to 8.7gr. in my TruBor. There are cleaner powders out there too.
  4. Got my invite today. Looks like I'll be seeing some of you in Montana.
  5. I run the SVI tubes too. They worked out of the box and they are nice and shiny. Grams Gunts and Dawson pads. 100%
  6. Glad you got them in easily. I just bought some at A2. Havn't put them in yet but it seems easy enough. Im interested to see if they do anything or not.
  7. When I was out there shooting a few weeks back they did have what looked to be a track for something. It was pretty high up there too.
  8. I shoot the S1, short comp. Seems about as effective as many others out there. With about 178 PF load it shoots realy flat.
  9. Not in Ohio but I do shoot one right now, if you need anything answered shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can get it answered for you.
  10. Shot this one today. Open, all alphas w/ a HF of 11.7322 Came out to a 70.5106% according to the calculator tool. This is my best one so far. It should push me into B class.
  11. +1 but i have also used the win small rifle for some loads...the small pistol set them off just as well though. I shoot 9mm Major and load w/ a 650.
  12. Power Pistol works well too. I have gone through about 4 pounds of it and i like it. It's pretty flashy but it shoots nice.
  13. Wouldn't you know it, I'm up here right now but I decided not to bring the pistol and gear up because I didn't think you guys would be shooting today. Should have brang it out anyway. I might be able to make it next saturday, if I can get off work. Where do you guys shoot anyway? Is it that range down close to Rye? I have been there before but it was closed.
  14. Thanks David. Im going up there for the weekend and wanted to see if they were going to shoot then. Do you have any idea when they have matches?
  15. Are there any clubs up there that offer USPSA style shooting? I think I have heard of Rim Counrty Shooters or something like that, but I don't know where or when they shoot. Any help would be great. Thanks
  16. Where did you find that? I have been looking for something like that for my TruBor.
  17. cool thanks. Mine is cut too low to mount a racker there.
  18. How did he add the slide racker? On my TurBor the slide is cut so close to the barrel hood that it seems impossible. Is yours mounted like a normal racker is? Just asking to see if I can get it done at an economical price. Could you post a pic of the other side of that gun too? Good looking gun though.
  19. I have the S1 comp. The 1st chamder seems to be so large that it excretes all the gas in that one chamber. The big bleeders in the front of the comp hardly get any gas. Even with the 178PF 9mm loads. There is still some silver in there. Not saying the comp dosnt work well but it just seems like they could have made that chamber a little smaller.
  20. Would this option be a lot cheaper then just getting a new barrel fit and having a new comp put on? Would it be worth the work involved? Im only wondering because in the event that something happens to the comp i could get it changed. I have the S1 on mine and the gun is the same OAL as my buddies Bedell Shorty with Dans comp on it.
  21. I thought the whole deal with the TurBor barrel is that it is all one piece. I wonder why they are putting on the thread on comps. If that is true that would mean i can put on a new comp if i wanted, right? I do have a 9mm TruBor with the S1 comp on it. I also never understood why they put the smaller comp on their 9mm MAJOR gun then on the 38 Super. They will have the same volume of gases, but one has a shorter case.
  22. I load mine one or two times (once fired) then just let them fall. All my brass is free so I dont like to pick it up that much.
