  1. Well if you want exact, powder coat is the only way. The cats out of the bag. Mollycoddle blue PWS-3016/Wrinkle Prismatic powders. The twist is, they have "discontinued" this color. Read into that as much as you like, but it's pretty obvious they have been tapped by the powers to be. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  2. Baffle over a baffle has no real advantage on all powders I have tried.
  3. Anyone know the correct 10mm frame feed ramp angle? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  4. Wolf 55gr. value is hard to beat. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  5. Why buy any pins? I have three Lee universal decappers and break one every so often. I take a picture of it and send off a email to Lee every time and get a new one mailed free of charge in three days. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  6. The gun is a coworkers new 1911 loaded Springfield. Load is 230gr. plated over 4.7gr Titegroup. What's the deal with the mark on the right side. Everyone gets the mark. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. The Lee FCD does this on my XL650 with pistol rounds. The more flare the worse shavings. Affects nothing but leave as mess. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  8. Looks like a $13.00 solution looking for a nonexistent problem. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  9. If you know what parts you need just fire off an email this way you won't have to waste any time on the phone. I always sent an email with a photo of what part failed and usually within 24 hours I had an email saying my parts free of charge are on the way. 10. The Redding Comp Pro seating die is all I use in all my rifle and pistol calibers on my XL650 The Forster die is just as nice and cheaper but not quite long enough to touch the shell plate when using a Hornady lock ring on top. 11. Hard to beat H335 for .223 and 308. Cheap, available and works well on both. Staying on the cheap Wideners has 2000 30CAL FMJBT M80 Bullets $389.00 FREE USPS FLAT RATE S/H They are NOT pulls. Brand new shinny bullets. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  12. I'd like to have a chat with whomever thought this one up. I used to hate this thought also, very much actually.Someone enlightened me to rethink the idea of SPP .45acp since it was actually developed originally as a SPP self contained metallic cartridge. Most people will give away SPP 45acp and some will double your brass trade for the SPP .45acp. Sounds good but this is what is making me rethink my hatred for the SPP .45acp. I load .45acp, .40S&W, 9MM Luger and .223/5.56MM How nice and cost/storage effective it would be to have one size/type pistol primer? Only having to hunt SPP primers and no cross over to larger primer system on the press. In a pinch I can use the small rifle primers on the pistol brass. It could be good. I may become one with it. 13. Had a similar issue and this fixed it 100%. Ditch the funnel. The metal should be closed up more, much more. Take the drop tube out and flare the inside to almost a point at the edge. The factory flare was extremely non concentric and shallow on mine. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  14. This will set you free. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  15. This is true. You need to buy nothing for .223 and .45acp. The machine will come with both small and large bars.Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  16. Legend claims Dillon Percision blue is old ford motor blue. Dillon even claims this is their touch up paint. I tried it and it's not even close. It is blue, but that's it. It's a tightly held secret on the color code as the frames are powder coated and the plastics are injected molded. There is a code for both. You will not get it from Dillon. You can computer color match it with around 95% accuracy and have Sherwin Williams make it for you in rattle can form. As far as plastic parts, die boxes and Akro bins color, forget a paint code. They all vary depending on vendor producing them and they are injected molded with the plastic media colored. Akro-mills will not even sell you the Dillon color bins they make for them. Your cheapest, fastest non custom and locally sourced paint I found that is a extremely scary close match is Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Paint Satin Oasis. Remember if your trying to match a powder coated frame or injected molded plastic part with enamel spray paint, your chasing the dragon. This is the best match off the shelf enamel spray paint out there and compliments both coloring technology's perfectly in the middle. Not 100% match of the powder coat color, (lighter) Not 100% of the injected molded plastic parts color, (darker) And by lighter and darker I mean so slightly off that different angles and lighting I can barely see any difference. Found on the shelf at your favorite large chain home improvement center store. My quest has ended after many failed attempts and my hope is someone else will not have to suffer the trials tribunes and pains I have. I am now satisfied with the end result and can sleep well. And I don't care what anybody says, this is my story and I'm sticking with it. Old ford motor blue in middle. Good luck and live long.

  18. Yes, I did get the occasional stem bind that was mainly due to a untuned extractor. Tuned it as per Wilson Combat and got new Checkmate magazines and it ended.I also ran hundreds of the same load @ 2.219 COAL without issue. 21. Just receive quite a significant amount of Unique powder and looking to load up some Xtreme 200gr SWC plated bullets. Running a 5 inch 1911 and I'd like to be around the same load as my titegroup rounds are. .45ACP 200gr plated SWC Xtreme Titegroup 4.9gr OAL 1.246 CCI 300 LPP 736.5 AVG FPS Colt 1911 5 inch barrel I gathered somewhere around 6.2grs but would like to know who has real data in unique. 22. I have a 650 w/case feeder and would not of bought it without one. To answers your question of making financial sense I will say it does not. To be $218 or so richer and be able to produce a final reloaded ammunition product with or without a case feeder equally well will always make financial sense. That said, time and aggravation has its price for me. Sent painfully from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Live long and free or die
  23. I had a primer issue that was driving me nuts. Turns out that the little Allen screw that holds the spring onto the primer punch was loose. It backed out about four turns. Took it out put a dab a blue Loctite on it tighten it up and all was well again. Worth a check.
  24. Sure looks like a defective plate. Also seems like if it were snugged down on the platform it would wear a ring into the aluminum platform. You should be receiving a new platform if there is a ring worn into it and a new shell plate. Dillon will make it right.
  25. Try as I may. I just can not visualize what you are explaining without a photo.
