  1. A few folks who wet tumble have mentioned using Meguiar's wash and wax instead of dawn which leaves cases lubed a bit. I haven't tried it yet though so I'm not sure how well it works.
  2. If you like the folding wagons you really need something built to carry heavy loads. Sam's club carries one that's pretty tough: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/folding-wagon-54x24-steel-wagon/prod17510039.ip?navAction=
  3. I also have a couple of Gen 4 Glocks. I based my backstrap choice on the mag release, and not the trigger. I could reach the trigger with all 3 just fine, but the ability to reach the mag release without having to change my grip is what determined which backstrap I used.
  4. This. Shooting steel teaches you to lead with your eyes first real quick. Eyes on target, gun will follow. If you lead with the gun you will be slow and/or inaccurate.
  5. Seen it once, thought it was strange, but it didn't bother me.
  6. I've shot the 124g berry's in multiple flavors out of a 34 and a 26, never had any keyholing issues from up close and out to 25 yards. As others have said watch the crimp, as in don't. Pull a few bullets, if you see any evidence that there even was a crimp, it's crimped too much.
  7. My adjustable factory rear drifted left in my first match. I ordered new sights that Monday (Dawson adjustable) and haven't had a problem since I installed them. Sounds like your sight was improperly fitted, they really shouldn't need the set screw to stay put.
  8. I have found that the diameter (.355 vs. .356) is what determines accuracy more than plating thickness.
  9. Had to file me rear from Dawson, but the front needed no work to it. I can't imagine that it would.
  10. I have some and run mags for my G34. I have only run them in about 2 matches, and 5 or so live fire practice sessions but I like them. Kind of a pain to get on an outer belt. I could not slip them on had to take the bracket off and put it back on. Once on the belt you can move them around with a bit of force. My one complaint is that the hex head screw that adjusts how hard it is to alter cant and tilt is kind of difficult to get to on the first few I bought. The new ones come with a hole drilled in the middle of their logo on the outside plate that makes them easy to adjust now. (You can see it drilled in the middle of the scorpion logo on the Amazon page). Each pouch also comes with plenty of replacement screws and spacers so no worries about spare parts if you lose soemthing. I haven't had any of my pouches lose anything yet. This is the first pouch if this kind I have ever owned so I can't compare it to CR Speed/AA pouches. Seems like a decent value for the $.
  11. It is also known as "Kraft Tape". Packing supply stores sell it locally, none of them are chain stores that sell it locally here.
  12. I disagree, there was no courage or honor involved with Paul's announcement. His announcement was exact opposite.
  13. This X1000 Anyone who sets it at a certain age is kidding themselves. I've seen Adults in their 20's and 30's who had no business at a match becasue their safety was poor and their attitude was crap. They were asked to leave. If the child is 5, 8 or 15 and can handle the gun safely and had the maturity go for it. Don't push them into it though.
