Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the info that's a good point I carry six mags on me and I seldom use the last two I appreciate the advice
  2. it's actually very useful. you need to identify any problems and know which mag it is. it also allows you to 'life' you mags. so you don't use the same mag over and over as mag 1 while the others get used only rarely. identifies which are your mags (can be tough when 5 others in your squad have the same mags). that's about it. but it's very worthwhile.
  3. I don't understand why is their a need to mark your mags
  4. Ok thanks Scott I was not aware that you guys did that
  5. This might be the wrong place for this but any feed back on who to send your gun to get cerakoted I don't want to send my gun some place to get f&$ked up any help would be appreciated thanks
  6. I really don't think the extreme kit is legal in production all you have to do is call powder river and they will let you know
  7. It also only took a week and a half from the time I ordered it to the time I picked it up from my FFL
  8. Just bought mine from PRP they did the hole shibang SS guide rod front sight trigger job extended mag release I love it and having them do the trigger is way better then doing it your self as I did in the past they polish everything it runs so smooth the first match I shot with it made a big difference in my game
  9. Sweet thanks for the help guys
  10. Are extended mag releases legal for production on the xdm 5.25 also wondering about dons stainless steel guide rods

    Ammo

I shoot the forty reman from freedom love the stuff been through about a 1000 rounds not one problem very very clean ammo looks brand new I can't tell the difference
  12. Ya I did all the filing down and finally got it to drop free with just a push of a button but it was jamming every other round I also tryed to contact Mec gar them selves NO REPLAY but I also contacted the web site I bought it from and he told me that some of the early xd 40 are of differen specs so that's looking like the problem and he was willing to refund my money even with me filing it down good web site and great costumer service they got right back to me Greg cote.com
  13. I recently bought a Mec-Gar mag from the Greg cote web site for my XD 40 service and when it came in the mail I put it in my gun and it was a really tight fit and would not just fall free from the gun then I took it to the range and it jammed 7 out of 10 rounds and no it's not the gun I had other mags with me and they ran flawlessly has any one els had this problem or did I just get a bad mag
  14. Well they have a recall on the xds I'm not sure what the recall is for but it might be for just the reasons you explained because I would not want to carry it that way eaither not reliable and bye the way you say you have a carry permit in CA is that hard to come buy out their because my brother lives out their and was intrested in trying to get one
