Clint U66

I went to the local UPS store today to ship two Magazine Tubes and was told that since they were a "gun related item" I would have to ship them overnight. These were only tubes, no springs, no followers, or basebads. How crazy is that!!! Has anyone else ran into a problem like this before? For the record, I have used this same location many times before and have never had a problem. The guy that I was dealing with is a new employee but the manager backed him up and said that he's right, anything that is "shooting related" be it handgun, long gun, bb gun, or even paintball gun accesories cannot be shipped ground. WTF!! Clint

\../ NEW GUN IS AWESOME \../ \../ NEW GUN IS AWESOME \../ Just got back from the range and as I expected the new blaster shot flawlessly. I shot some minor loads with the heavy and light recoil master and with minor and a light spring this thing shoots soooooo light it"s unreal!! The major loads shot great as well. I didn't get to shoot as much as I would have liked because I would shoot 25 rounds and let the gun cool while Ken and I worked on some stages for tomorrows match. I did get to show the plate rack who's boss though!! After doing this a few times it got really dark and started raining like hell!! I will stick around after the match and finish breaking it in tomorrow. All in all the gun shoots great, feels great and looks great......what more can you ask for? Thanks again to Dan and Chuck for working with me on building exactly what I asked for. I'll give you guys a little more detailed info tomorrow. Clint

Thanks for posting the pics Paul. It looks like Dan outdid himself on this one!! I spoke with Dan a few months back about doing an IDPA legal widebody and was thinking that he may not be interested in building something of this nature........he basically said whatever you want I can do it!! So here is the finished product and man it has surpassed all my expectations!! Thanks again Dan for working with me and putting together something top notch. The C.O.C. album isn't quite what I had expected but its not bad by any means. It would be hard to top Deliverance or Wiseblood!! If you like the BLS stuff you may want to check out a project Zakk did back in 94 called Pride and Joy. It's kinda southern, like lynyrd Skynyrd on steroids!!! Wow!! I Can't believe that so many of you guys are into such cool music!! I have to add a few to the list: The Haunted At the Gates Suffocation Lamb of God Corrosion of Conformity Black Label Society Halfway to Gone about any of the instrumental guys...Vai, Satch, Vinnie Moore, Morse, and so on. Big Dave, I've got a good one for ya I sold a PRS Custom 22, a 78' Les Paul Custom, 2 Mesa Engineering Heads With Cases, and 2 4x12 Cabs when I discovered shooting sports. I miss my gear from time to time and hate that I sold it all but as you all know getting started in shooting isn't cheap. Besides, all that gear is worthless when you aren't playing live shows.....you can't really crank all that stuff up at home!! I hate that Dan Bedell built me a gun that I am more happy with than any other gun I have ever shot. I hate that I have put in an order for another. I hate working 60 hours a week to pay for this new gun!!! Just kidding Dan!!!

Can someone please clarify which length mags(sv or st) will fit in the idpa box? I am running an sti frame with an sv magwell. Is there any combination of mags and basepads that will stick out of the magwell to help with seating but still fit in the box? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Clint
